1. MAJOR PROBLEMS........(pt1)

It was cold as I pushed through the glass double doors of our mansion, my dark brown ponytail flipping and flopping.

"It's here! It HAS to be here!" I shouted. My father looked me up and down. I knew that look fairly well. It was the look he gave my brother whenever the police had to drive him home. The look he got when he opened the wooden cabinet to find that one piece of his precious China was missing. The look of disappointment.

"Katarina, stop looking. You've lost an irreplaceable, sentimental, 24kt diamond necklace. You should be ashamed of yourself." "But dad! It was an ac-" "KATARINA VERDE, GO BACK INSIDE!"

Fake tears roll down my cheeks as I race back into my house to my room. As soon as I'm out of sight from my dad, I wipe away my tears and curl my lips into a smile.

The walls were a baby pink. Posters of Aly&AJ to Brittany Spears. My sleigh bed occupies the corner. Sitting beside my bed is a mini dresser filled with all of of the diaries I have ever written in. On the other side of my room is a desk filled with books, salmon-colored laptop, and school papers I was so proud I had decided for it to be framed.

I glanced at my report from 5th grade. Straight A's. I take my report card out of the frame. On the back I had written down all of the secrets I knew, but they weren't mine to keep.

They were secrets from diaries I got a quick glance at, secrets I heard from private conversations , and , best of all, secrets I heard while various people were talking on the phone.

You'd think I'd get bored reading it over and over, but I enjoy it. I enjoy laughing and squealing at their embarrasing secrets. It makes me feel alive. It makes me feel like I'm not the only one with MAJOR PROBLEMS!

First off, I "lost" my grandma's 24kt sentimental diamond necklace. Sentimental meaning it has been in my family for generations and generations.

Before you jump to conclusions, I didn't lose that piece of junk, I simply shoved it inside the head of my beloved, stuffed panda bear, Beijing. That's right, that whole crying scene was a complete fake. As if I would care about  that ugly thing, I mean it looked like a crossbreed between a flamingo and a grizzly bear. I know it sounds messed up, but it's the best possible way to describe it!

That's not even the biggest problem I have! While I'm taking a test, I sort of answer a question, then look on another persons paper for reassurance for my answer. If you want to use the big ugly word "cheat" whatever.

Be honest here, have you ever felt like you were completely helpless on some questions on a quiz/test, and you just wish you could have some help? That's how I felt!

Trust me, cheating isn't easy. It took a lot of time to accomplish. I had to be able to read words upside down and to cheat without actually getting caught, all of which I've mastered. You would think I would've gotten caught by now but no.

I almost feel bad. I mean it's the reason I was and still am in advanced classes. This is my life story that started in 4th grade all the way up to 9th grade(now).

4th grade - advanced math, reading, spelling

5th grade - advanced math, reading, spelling

  6th grade - IM6, advanced reading, English

7th grade - ....... well you get the idea

Currently I'm in AP for all of the possible classes. Especially math, I was in IM6, IM7, and IM8, why wouldn't they want me?

I glance back down at my report card from 5th grade. I didn't earn this either. Well, I can't exactly stop now, or I will be in HUGE trouble, as in expelled with no college EVER! I'll be a cat lady when I grow old!
