Broken Crystals

When Crystal collapses in the middle of the road after another beating, headlights are the last thing she sees. She wakes up in a strange house, surrounded by five strange boys. She refuses to relax around them or be herself. But can the one Irish boy with the beautiful blue eyes show her what it means to be loved and fix her cracks?

48. Spare Room

Crystal's POV

"What about that dress with the red-" Eleanor's voice is cut off by the sound of something large being dropped in one of the bedrooms.
"What was tha-" Susie starts but Perrie clamps her hand to her mouth. Susie frowns and mouths 'what the hell?' instead.  We all shrug and silently place our shopping bags down on the floor. We had just got back from the shopping cantre and had been discussing what to wear for  tonight. The boys hadn't been answering their phones all day and no one knew where they were.
"Come on," Danielle whispers, motioning for us to follow her down the hallway. The five of us creep down there and slowly check in all of the rooms until we reach  the last; the spare room. Perrie goes to open it but I shake my head and put an arm out to stop her. She frowns in confusion but I shake my head and fish my phone out from my pocket. Scrolling through my contacts, I find the one I'm looking for. I press the 'call' button and hold a finger to my lips as the girls all circle around the door. Two moments later I hear Niall's ring-tone going off from inside the room. I chuckle softly and press the 'end' button; a chorus of swearing and 'Niall's!" coming from behind the door. Eleanor pushes it open and we all crowd inside.
"Crystal!" Niall exclaims shocked but I gape at what I see.

"You… You…" I stutter, not able to get the words out. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. The boys were all standing around the room, covered in paint and dust. The once empty room was now full with furniture; the walls painted and the floors carpeted. The walls were a cream colour with a dark oak trim around the bottom and top. The carpet was a matching colour to the walls and fairy lights were hung around the ceiling delicately. The large window was painted a brilliant white, cream curtains on either side. There was a huge white wooden cot with fairy lights strung around it too. Above the cot a mobile hung; musical notes and diamonds hanging from it. I watch in awe as it spins slowly, the sunlight bouncing off of it and casting beams in all different directions.
"Did you guys do this?" I manage to finally ask, gaping at each of them until my gaze lands on Niall. He blushes furiously and places the paintbrush he had been holding in to a tin of white paint.  He nods and wipes his hands on his trousers, smiling up at me. I run towards him; crashing our bodies together in an embrace.
"I love you so much," I whisper to him, closing my eyes and burying my face in his neck. He chuckles deeply, chest rising with the motion. Niall plants a kiss on the top of my head before letting go and pulling me to his side by my waist.
"This is why we wanted you to go out today," He explains, a twinkle in his eye.
"We didn't want you to see it until it was finished but…" Liam adds, embracing Danielle as she walks over.
"I can't believe you've done this," I say, grinning at each of them in turn. Harry hugs Susie and whispers something in her ear.
"Yes, we did." She says softly back, smiling playfully up at him.
"What time does the concert start?" Perrie asks Zayn, looking up at him from where she stands cradled to his chest in the farthest corner of the room.
"Five, I think." He replies.
"We're going to get there earlier though. So be ready by four," Harry adds, nodding to Perrie.
