Broken Crystals

When Crystal collapses in the middle of the road after another beating, headlights are the last thing she sees. She wakes up in a strange house, surrounded by five strange boys. She refuses to relax around them or be herself. But can the one Irish boy with the beautiful blue eyes show her what it means to be loved and fix her cracks?

80. 145

Harry's POV

"145," The nurse behind the desk tells me and I immediately rush off. I hear the girls thanking her as I head down the corridor; eyes scanning the room numbers on the doors as they zoom past in my rush to get to her. My heart flutters as the number I was searching for appears on the door infront of me. I skid to a stop and take a deep breath before pushing open the door.
"Susie!" I call her name as I burst into the room. My eyes find hers immediately; they were scrunched up in pain as she lay on the bed.
"H-harry," She murmurs before erupting into a groan of pain.
"I'm going to have to ask you to push now, Okay?" The midwife stands at the end of Susie's bed and lifts an eyebrow at her and then me. Susie nods quickly and her hand finds mine. I entwine our fingers and grip tightly; trying my best to stop my palms from sweating in apprehension.
"It'll be okay, It's going to be fine." I repeat, stroking the hair away from her damp forehead comfortingly. My hand was shaking as I do so and I try my best to contain my nerves for her sake. Her eyes meet mine; terror filled them.
"Harry!" She shouts, gripping my hand with more force than before.
"It's okay, Susie. I'm here, I'm here." I reassure her, kissing her cheek softly.

"It's okay,"

Twenty minutes later, the baby girl's tiny body was being cuddled gently to Susie's chest.
"Oh my god," She whispers, exhaling deeply. I look down at the baby and then up to Susie's tired face. I had never felt like this for anyone or anything before... It was scary but... I loved it. I craved it. I felt lost without it. And now, with a baby with Susie... It just felt even more real.

"I love you," I whisper to her, pressing my lips to hers. She whispers the words back to me and I smile; leaning down to kiss the baby's cheek gently. She squirms at my touch before reaching up with her hand to grip my hair.

"She likes them just as much as I do," Susie says with a chuckle, nodding at my dark curls.

"Hopefully you'll have them too, little baby." I smile down at her, prying her tiny fingers away from my hair and kissing each of them gently.
