Angel

(Please don't hate me for starting another fic. I had to do it. It just happened. I'm sorry. But it really is lovely)

Harry Styles has completely lost control of himself to partying, drinking, and girls. Being a member of One Direction has made him forget the things he loved, and most of all made him forget that he is capable of being loved. Simon Cowell is fed up with Harry's dirty antics and has come up with the perfect plan: Emily Sven. Emily is the founder of Kids Helping Kids, a charity that has teens and children helping kids in poverty. She's a perfect angel, exactly what Harry needs to fix his tarnished image. And Uncle Simon is presenting this plan in the form of an offer that neither are able to refuse.

In which Harry has no choice...

Harry Styles rolled over in his bed, his arm falling over an unfamiliar head of hair. He opened his eyes lazily to be confronted with the sight of red locks falling across his sheets. And then it all came crashing back into his mind. The club, the deep bass, the drinking, and the girls. Why he chose this girl, he doesn’t know, and he never will care. He just needed a quick fuck to numb his needs, and then he’d be on with it. Why? Because he’s Harry Styles and he can. And as conceited as that sounds, it’s one hundred percent true. Being a member of the biggest boy band the world had ever seen was the best thing that ever happened to Harry. Not only was he rich and a house hold name, but he could get whatever he wanted. People literally fell at his feet. He was yet to meet one person who wasn’t at least a little bit star struck by either his name, or his curly locks and dimpled smile. The only thing that nagged at Harry was that there was only one thing he couldn’t get: someone who loved him for Harry, the awkward, lanky, slow talking kid from Cheshire.

Emily Sven placed her pen gently back onto her desk. It was 5 AM and she still hadn’t gone to bed. There was no time. She was straining herself and she knew it, but it was more than worth it. She was doing what she always did: putting everyone else before herself. Not that she really minded, because helping people is what made her happy, so she wouldn’t stop until the day that she died. It was in her mind, body, and soul (as cheesy as that sounds) but it was engraved in her, and she couldn’t fight it. Ever since she was a little girl, she knew what she wanted to do. And now she was doing it. She was the founder of a charity called Kids Helping Kids. It was basically what it sounded. Real kids and teenagers helping the people around their age. Not only that, but Emily also donated all she had to other charities, leaving her in a small apartment, living off of the bare minimum. But it was all she needed. Her event planning skills were so spectacular that she organized the balls and galas for many charities just to impress the rich people who felt as though they needed to donate in order to keep their guilty minds at bay. She made all the money in the world, but she didn’t want it, because underneath it all, she was too busy caring for everyone else to let anyone care for her.

“Mr. Styles, it’s good to see you again.” The woman the front desk leaned forward, batting her eyelashes at Harry. He winked and flashed his famous smile before strolling over to the elevator. He shook his head. How easy it was for Harry Styles to pull women. He would never really understand it, honestly, he thought he was average at best, but he wasn’t about to correct anyone.
“Harry! Have a seat.” Simon greeted his favourite little money maker. No doubt that the rest of the boys generated a lot of hype, but no one was more appealing that Harry and his four nipples apparently.
“Good to see you again, Simon. I hope you’re doing well.” Harry grinned at the man who had given him everything.
“I am, my boy. Now I’m sure you’re wondering why I called you here.” Simon took a seat in his massive chair behind is massive desk. There was nothing this man didn’t have.
“Yeah, where are the rest of the boys?” Harry looked around the empty room. Oddly enough there were only two other chairs set out for the meeting, making Harry wonder who it was that they would be meeting with.
“This is actually just between you and me and—Oh! Emily, thank you for coming in today.” Simon stood up from his seat, a big smile plastered on his usually scowling face. He sent a small nod to Paul who had escorted Emily to the offices. Harry turned around, curious as to whom Simon was smiling so brightly for, and when he saw her, he didn’t quite understand it. Not that she wasn’t beautiful, she was. Her long flowing dark hair, her bright green eyes, and a perfectly curvy body to match it, she was drop dead gorgeous, but what made her different from every other girl who threw themselves at Harry.
“Hello Simon, it’s good to see you again. You look well!” She spoke in a posh voice while taking the seat next to Harry. “And who might this be? Simon, don’t tell me you’re trying to get this man to donate!” Emily turned to Harry a blinding smile playing on her features. Harry waited for the flash of recognition to pass over her face, but it never came, so he ended up staring at her dumbly, his mouth slightly open, and his eyes wide in shock.
“Not quite, but do not worry, you will be getting much more than a donation, Ms. Sven.” Simon sat back down at his desk as Paul took a seat next to Emily. Truth be told, Paul didn’t really need to be at this meeting. Simon didn’t really want him there. He didn’t need the liability of another mind knowing of his plan, but he knew that Harry saw Paul as a father figure, and he needed Paul to talk him into this.
“Excuse me?” Harry was more than confused.
“Harry, how old are you now?” Simon questioned, even though he knew the answer.
“21, Si.” Harry was growing more and more confused by the second, and by the look on the woman’s face beside him, she was feeling just the same.
“Right, silly me, I knew that. Harry, it was only 2 years ago that you decided to involve yourself with Taylor Swift. And since then I’ve let you continue to make your own decisions seeing as that relationship brought you into the spotlight, therefore bringing the band even more fans. The only problem is that it has brought every single one of your actions under the magnifying glass, especially since the media has decided to portray you as a complete womanizer. Not that they are wrong. But it is bad publicity. Your popularity has gone down because you can’t seem to keep yourself under control. So I must do it for you.” Simon’s voice was completely devoid of emotion, all business.
“What do you mean you must do it for me?” Harry’s voice was starting to rise, he wasn’t quite sure why yet, but he knew he wasn’t going to like it.
“I’m sorry to interrupt, but what does this have to do with me, Simon? You know I’m a busy woman, I took the time to come here because you said there would be a large investment.” Emily piped up from beside Harry, causing him to get even angrier.
“Oh shut up! He’s talking about my life here, not some corporate firm.” Harry growled at the girl, causing her to flinch. In her entire lifetime, there have only been two people Emily hasn’t been able to please: her parents and they would speak to her exactly like Harry had.
“Excuse me, but this isn’t just some firm! We’re talking about thousands of children without homes, parents, or even more than one outfit that need to be invested in.” Emily shot back venomously. She surprised herself; she really wasn’t used to being angry with anyone.
“Emily, Harry, let’s settle down and I’ll get to all the details that will answer all you questions. Harry, your image is going completely downhill. In the past month alone I have had to pay off 6 girls because they wanted to come forward and sell their stories to the tabloids about how you charmed them into your bed the night. This needs to end now. But you stopping your ridiculous partying is not going to be enough. Your image has been tarnished and there is only one way to save your image; you need to settle down. And the only way to do it is for you to get a girlfriend, a girl that no one can find anything wrong with. So I sat down one day, wondering how we were going to get you the perfect woman. We needed to find you an angel, but who on earth is that perfect that no one can dig up anything on her? And then I went to a charity gala and I met Emily. It was like all my prayers had been answered. Who could find anything wrong with the founder of Kids Helping Kids? Emily here is practically a saint. And so, this comes to my offer. Harry, you’re going to have a hard time refusing it because of your contract, and Ms. Sven I do hope you’ll consider the children when pondering this.” The smile returned to Simon’s face, “I need you two to date.”
