One Way or Another

Jenkins Ocean is nothing but a trouble maker after her parent's death. She's at an orphanage since she's not 18 yet. Her dad's all-time best friend since high school -Simon- decides that he's interfering.

Taken in by Simon Cowell, she meets what seemed at first the pain in the ass called One Direction. They all seemed nice to her, everyone but bad boy Zayn, though Zayn's not really fond of her either.

14. Cabs and room surprises

I couldn’t actually believe they had made me done this, and even Simon!

We were at the Marco Polo Airport and this was the only time of my life when I was not happy about being here. I had always admired the beauty that Venice is, but I never thought I’d have to be sharing my experience with some bitchy brat.

It sure was a fun killer.

Simon had said we’d have to pretend to be dating, but how was I going to pretend to love someone I hate more than anyone else in the world? I had no idea.

We walked out of the doors with out bags in hand, though –me, being the boyfriend- I had to carry Brain Washer’s bags too. This sucked! And just when I thought things couldn’t possibly get worse, a sea of fans was outside the airport. Paul, thankfully, managed to get us into cabs safely. Liam hopped in a cab, followed by Louis, Harry and Niall. Then, Paul hopped in, leaving Brain Washer and me in a can just for us. Wasn’t it just great?

My beloved boyfriend and I –sarcasm sign not needed– were in a cab just glaring at each other. And thankfully the trip was quick, but we still had to take the water taxi to the hotel.

When we were out, Bad boy threw my bags to me. Oh, dear! Such a gentleman! I picked them up and walked into the Luna Hotel Baglioni, near Harry’s Bar. I laughed thinking of Harry in Harry’s Bar.

Paul checked us in and we followed him into the elevator. Everyone was silent, but then Louis asked, “How are we sleeping?”

“Lying down, Lou, you know that when you rest at night, you do it with your eyes closed.” Niall explained and we all laughed. Lou simply hit his head, making us laugh even harder.

Sometimes Niall’s reasoning was so simple I wished I had his mind. Everything was simple for him. Sleeping was lying down with eyes closed. No sleepless nights, no stress and no complications. I loved that little leprechaun who always made me smile.

When we reached the 5th floor, we all walked out of the elevator. We stopped on the 6th door. “Louis, your room.” Paul said as he gave him a key. Louis walked in and closed the door behind him. We walked to the 7th door. “Liam.” Paul said and Liam took the key, walked in and closed the door. We walked to the 8th door. “Harry, here you go.” Paul said and handed him a key. Harry did just like Liam and Louis. The 9th door belonged to Niall, who did just like the others. The 10th door was Paul’s room –that’s what I thought because we skipped it– and we walked back to the elevator without a clue of what was happening.

“Well, lovebirds, your room is on the 7th floor. Here are your keys.” He said as he handed us keys. “Try not to break anything.”

“What?” Bad boy and I said as Paul pushed us into the elevator and it closed after Paul walked out. It stopped on the floor and we walked to the room the key said. Why was it even in a different floor?

When we opened the door, the answer seemed as stupid as the question itself. It was a honeymoon suite. This all seemed like a bad joke.

“I call dibs on the bed.” Zayn said as he ran and jumped on it. Real gentleman!
