A Thousand Years

When Louis meets a girl, his life turns upside down and she changes him in ways that can't be explained. When an accident causes Louis to lose his memory, it is up to Angela and his friends to help him regain the memories that have been lost. In an attempt to help regain Louis' memory, he can only remember his past.

15. When You Wish Upon A Star

Tour couldn't have been anymore amazing. We had the greatest fans, a top-notch band, and of course, the best fiancee a guy could ever ask for. "When did we start working for you?" Harry asked as Angela entered the room. We were all discussing about the trip to the States. We were gathered around a large table and Angela took her seat in front of us.

"You offered me a job that I became good at and got promoted. Did you really think I was going to stay in the same position forever?" she asked him. All the expenses for the trip was all ready planned out, but it was more like, where should we start? Angela was suggesting to from East to West. "Do any of you disagree?" she asked.

"No, that's perfectly fine. Maybe by the end of the tour we can visit your family in LA." Liam said.

Angela smiled, "I'd like that a lot Liam."

Finally we were back in the States once again. Swarms of paparazzi and fans filled the streets. Cameras were flashing everywhere as we all got into the car. We arrived at the hotel. A separate room was reserved for Angela and I, but she told me that I should go stay with the guys. "It's fine Louis." she smiled.

"I'll be right across the hall if you need me." I told her as she nodded, then kissed me on the lips. I waited until she entered her room before entering mine. "You two aren't sharing a room together?" Niall asked as I shook my head.

"Have you two decided on the wedding date?" Harry asked.

I was getting tired of Harry ask the same question over and over again. It was obvious that he wanted to be the best man and he is going to be. "We haven't really discussed any marriage plans lately. I'm worried." I said.

"You should go talk to her." Zayn suggested.

Knowing that it was a good idea, I walked out of the room and across the hall to Angela's room. I knocked on the door and she opened it. "What do you need?" she asked me. She had all ready changed into her pajamas and her hair was tied up in a ponytail. "I want to talk to you about something." I told her.

"Can this wait?" she asked.

"No, this is really important." I told her as she stepped aside, letting me into her room. She closed the door behind me and sat down on the bed with her legs crossed. She sat quietly, waiting for me to speak but I didn't know how to start. "I hope it's not an irrelevant subject." she said.

"Have you been constantly asked about when we're getting married? You know, by your friends and family?"

She nodded, "I keep getting phone calls, texts, and they don't stop. I keep telling everyone that I'm not going to rush myself into anything. I'll set a wedding date when I've talked it out with you."

"At least it's not just me." I sat on the bed and leaned against the head board.

"Harry's been bothering you too?"

"Yeah. Ever since tour started, he's been asking the same question over a million times. It's getting annoying."

She rested her head on my chest and traced the lines on my shirt. "I want to get married on the beach. I just figured that living in California..." she trailed off, looking at me.

I smiled, "We can get married there. Just as long as it stops everyone from asking us what our plans are."

Eventually the talk of our wedding died down and finally, we were able to breathe. Our last stop was in LA and we did promise to visit Angela's parents. "I hope they're not on vacation again." she said as we walked up the entrance to her parents house. "You didn't tell us you were this rich." Harry said.

"We're not millionaires Harry." she smiled.

The door opened and we were all welcomed into the house by Kate. After we entered, Jessica ran to Angela and gave her a hug. "I missed you!" Jessica said, looking up at her sister. "I missed you too! Hey mom, where's dad?" Angela asked Kate.

"He's at work. He'll be home for dinner." Kate said.

Typical. I sighed and headed upstairs to my room without saying a word. It was just like the time I had come home from my first year at college. My dad wasn't home and my mom was the only one who saw me, including Jessica. I plopped down on my bed and took in the scent of vanilla. I closed my eyes as I laid there for a moment before hearing a knock at my door.

I  told them to come in. It was Louis. He closed the door behind him as he entered and sat down on the bed. "You okay?" he asked. I shook my head no as he went over and got in bed with me. He wrapped his arms around me, pulling me closer to him. I just loved how he felt so strong and being in his arms made me forget about all the problems that I had.

"Let's stay here for a while." I said, closing my eyes and fell asleep on his chest.

Hours later, I woke up and saw that Louis was asleep. We both had fallen asleep without even knowing it. He looked so peaceful when he was asleep. We were all tired from our trip between time zones. I carefully got out of bed and headed downstairs.

I heard laughing in the backyard and went to go check it out. Harry was chasing Jessica. "You can't catch me!" she called out, giggling. I leaned against the door frame and just watched them. He finally caught her and began tickling her.

That instantly brought back memories of the times when I was Jessica's age and our dad was the one chasing me. Those memories brought tears to my eyes as I quickly wiped them away before anyone else could see. "Hey Ange." Harry went up to me with a smile. "Hey Harry." I smiled.

"Where's Louis?" he asked.

"Taking a nap... a very long nap."

"While he's taking a nap, do you want to take a walk?"

As much as I disliked excercise, Harry always managed to get me to go places with him. "Yeah, sounds good. Should Jess come along?" I asked.

He smiled, "If she wants to."

"Jess, do you want to go for a walk with Harry and I?" I called out to her as she nodded. Jessica took both of our hands and led us towards the gate.

The three of us walked down the street with Jessica in the middle. "I should be spending more time with Louis." I looked over at Harry as he looked at me. "You're all ready on tour with him. Ange, you have all the time you need when you two are finally married. Sure it's not going to be simple, but it's better than seeing him for only a few months out of the entire year." he said.

I nodded, "You're right."

We walked into an ice cream shop and ordered ice cream to share. We sat down at a table and began to eat. Harry leaned over and whispered, "Why does Jess have to come with us?"

"So Louis doesn't get jealous." I whispered back. He gave me a shocked look and I just burst out in giggle fits. "Louis jealous? Of me? No!" he smiled. His "acting" made me laugh. He laughed along with me which left Jessica out of the conversation that we were laughing about. She couldn't really grasp the concept of what was so funny about Louis being jealous.

The three of us walked back to my parent's house just in time for dinner. My dad was finally home and all of us sat around the dining table to eat our meals. We all had a lot of catching up to do and my parents were actually glad to hear about my new job. Even though it brought me farther away from home, it brought me closer to the guys.

After dinner I went out into the backyard and Louis followed me. We both sat down near the edge of the pool and looked up at stars. "When I was younger and didn't have to worry about a job, I would look up at the stars and hope a shooting star would come so I would make my wish. I would do this every single night until that star came." I said.

"What would you wish for?"

Our eyes met and I smiled, "My wish all ready came true."
