10. Temptation

Tour was over and we were on our flight back to the UK. I was going to miss Angela, but I knew that I'd be seeing her again soon. We arrived at the airport and we took a cab to drive us home. After I was dropped off, I entered the house and was greeted with a hug from Eleanor. "I missed you Boo bear." she said, then gave me a kiss on the lips.

I kissed her back, wrapping my arms around her body. I pulled away, looking into her eyes. "I missed you too." I smiled. Once I was settled, Eleanor and I snuggled on the couch while drinking tea. I wrapped an arm around her shoulders as she rested her head upon my chest. "How was tour?" she asked, looking up at me.

I took a sip from the cup. "It was fun. I couldn't stand being away from you for so long." I told her.

"Why didn't you come home sooner?" she asked. She knew as well as I did that tour was suppose to end a few weeks ago. But with the accident, the tour was put on hold for a while. "I was in an accident, remember?" I asked her. She just shrugged, then took a sip of her tea. Something was holding her back from saying what was on her mind. I knew she wanted a different answer. I just couldn't give her the answer she needed. Not now.

"It's okay Lou. You can tell me what you did in LA." she said. "I'm not going to be mad." I didn't believe her second statement. She was going to be mad if I mentioned Angela's name and I was going to keep it that way. "We just had a concert." I said.

"That's all?" she asked. I nodded and I heard her sigh. "I know you don't want to tell me about her." she said. Of course she knew that I was trying desperately not to mention Angela's name. "El, she and I are just friends." I told her.

"Just friends? Lou, if you were just friends, you would be home sooner." she spat. She set down her cup on the table, then left the room. I looked down at my cup and sighed. I picked up her cup and took it into the kitchen to rinse when my phone rang. I set both cups in the sink, then answered my phone. "Hello?"

"Hey, it's Angela. Is this a bad time?" Angela asked.

"No, why?" I asked.

"I just wanted to know if you were home. I mean, you arrived safely right?"

I smiled, "I'm talking to you, aren't I?"

I heard her laugh over the phone. "Oh duh. I miss you Louis."

"I miss you too. When are you coming here?"

"I'm not telling you. It's a surprise. I gotta go. I love you." That was all I heard before she hung up. I love you too. I thought to myself and smiled, putting my phone back into my pocket. I cleaned both cups, then went to check on Eleanor to see how she was doing.

I walked down the hallway, knocking on the bedroom door. When she didn't answer, I opened the door to find her lying down on the bed, facing the window. "El?" I asked.

"Do you have feelings for her?" She sat up on the bed and faced my direction. There were tears streaming down her cheeks as I went over to the bed to wipe them way, but she turned away. "Answer me Louis." she said.

"No, I don't." I said.

"Are you lying?" she asked. Her question stumped me a little. When I didn't answer, she got up and began packing. "Where are you going?" I asked her.

"We can't keep secrets from each other. I love you Louis, but I need to know that she means nothing to you."

"Why are you acting like this El? Are you jealous of her? She hasn't done anything to you."

"Don't you see what she's doing to us? She's tearing us apart Louis. If she's really your friend, she wouldn't do anything to hurt us. A true friend would know that. Are you blinded by love?"

I couldn't believe what Eleanor was saying. Actually, I was a bit confused. "Just don't leave." I told her, blocking the door from letting her pass. "Why?" she asked. I'd be lonely. I thought to myself and just looked into her eyes. "Please stay. I can't live without you." I said. She shook her head as if the words I had said weren't enough and that was the case.

She brushed past me and walked towards the door. She stopped in her tracks only to turn to me and say, "The old Louis wouldn't let his girlfriend walk out of his life." In that instant, she got in her car and drove down the street.

"What are you going to do Lou?" Harry asked me. We were in the living room of his house when I told him everything that happened between Eleanor and I. "I don't know. I have to fix this somehow." I said.

"You can't be with two girls at the same time. It's one or the other." Harry said. He was right. It was one or the other. Problem is: I'd hurt one of them and I would never be happy with myself. "You can't tell the others about this." I told him.

"Why?" Harry asked.

"They're just going to make the decision harder."

"Maybe you just have to trust your gut."

Three weeks have gone by since Eleanor left and Angela called. I had been cooped up in my house since then. The guys have been trying to get me out of the house, but it was no use. I was faced with the decision to choose between two girls I cared about. Eleanor and Angela. I didn't want to hurt any of their feelings by choosing one over the other.

It was either choosing one of them and hurting them or living alone forever. There was no way I could handle being alone. I was lying down on the bed, staring up at the ceiling when I heard the doorbell ring. It's probably one of the guys. I thought to myself, finding the nerve to get out of bed.

As soon as I opened the door I was met with a pair of brown eyes. "Angela?" I asked.

"I tried calling, but you didn't answer so I figured I might as well drop by." she smiled, then wrapped her arms around me as she embraced me in a hug. I hugged her back tightly. We pulled away as she looked into my eyes. "What's wrong?" she asked. Did everyone have to ask me that question?

I closed the door behind her and led her to the couch as we sat down. "Eleanor left." I told her.

"You two didn't break up?" she asked.

"No, she left because I didn't know how to tell her about how I feel about you."

She nodded, then looked down. "It's not your fault." I said. She shook her head, "I feel bad now. You still love her. Even when we met-"

"Don't start. None of this is your fault. I should've told her about us when I had the chance to, but I kept putting it off until now."

"Louis," She placed her hand on top of mine, caressing it. "I'm not going anywhere. You need to talk to her." She smiled and that made me feel a little bit better. "How about you give her a call and tell her everything."

It was a suggestion, but in ways, she and Harry were similar. They both were good friends of mine, but something about Angela's voice was reassuring. "Okay, I'll call her." I said, taking out my phone to call Eleanor.

Eleanor answered on the second ring. "Hey Louis." she answered. It was right after she answered when I told her everything. From beginning to end. "Good bye Eleanor." I said, then hung up the phone. Angela was waiting in the living room when I was done talking to Eleanor. "So did you tell her everything?" Angela asked as I sat down next to her. "Yeah, I did." I said.

A smile spread across my lips. "I'm all yours." I leaned in and kissed her lips.

"This place is amazing. Where are we?" Angela asked me. The guys and I took her to Nando's. It was Niall's favorite places to eat in the UK. "Nando's." Niall answered with a smile. We sat at a table and ordered our food. Angela and I were seated next to each other while the others were seated around the table.

"How do you like living here so far?" Liam asked Angela.

Angela had only been living at my house for a week since she arrived, but she was settling fast. "I love it!" she smiled. "I'm glad." Harry smiled. While we were discussing the plans we have to show Angela around the city, she placed her hand on my thigh. "Louis, are you okay?" Zayn asked.

I nodded, "Yeah, I'm fine." They went back to talking as I looked at Angela and she gave me an 'I'm innocent' look. Though her eyes told me something more. She was tempting me. I wanted her right then and there. She rubbed her hand up and down my leg. I couldn't give in, just yet.

After dinner, Angela and I went home. Once we were safe in my house, I kissed her lips. "I'm getting for what you did at the restaurant." I told her as she looked into my eyes. She smirked, "What stunt?"

I took her into the bedroom and shut the door behind us. Angela seemed to know which buttons to press to make me tick or to make me want her so bad. She was a temptation. From the moment I laid eyes on her, I had to have her and now she was mine.
