A Thousand Years

When Louis meets a girl, his life turns upside down and she changes him in ways that can't be explained. When an accident causes Louis to lose his memory, it is up to Angela and his friends to help him regain the memories that have been lost. In an attempt to help regain Louis' memory, he can only remember his past.

2. Bonding

The next day we went around the city, meeting a few of our fans on the streets. We took pictures and signed autographs, but aside from all of that, my mind went straight to Angela. I couldn't stop thinking about her. It pained me that I wouldn't be able to see her until tonight.

I walked into the store once more just to see her face and there she was, working at the register. "Hi Louis!" Jessica  ran up to me and gave me a hug. I smiled and hugged her back. "Hi Jessica." She pulled away from the hug and gave me a card. "I made this for you. I hope you like it." she giggled.

Jessica was such an adorable girl. I opened the card, which read:

"You are my favorite person ever!
I love you!
Your biggest fan,

I smiled and hugged her again, "Thank you Jessica. I love it." Jessica skipped back over to the counter and started talking with Angela. Shortly, I walked over and leaned against the counter. "I'm not allowed to talk to anyone while I'm working." Angela said with a smirk. "Not even Louis from One Direction?" I asked her.

"Well, I would make an exception if my boss agrees." she smiled. I looked around the entire area. "I don't see your boss." I smiled.

"She left me in charge." Angela said. "Are you going to buy something or what? I have customers to attend to." She motioned towards the other people in the store. "Oh c'mon, can you spend at least a couple of minutes talking to me?" I asked her. She looked a way for a moment and then smiled, "You'll cost me my job. Can you wait until I'm on break to talk?"

"Sure, I can wait. How long?" I asked her.

"In about an hour. In the meantime, you can take my sister with you. She wants to buy all things 1D." She whispered the last part. "Hey!" Jessica pouted as she crossed her arms over her chest. "I heard that." Angela let out a laugh and gave me ten bucks. "Are you paying me to baby-sit your sister?" I asked her.

"If you do a good job, you'll get more than just a date with me tonight." she smirked. Fair enough. I thought to myself, taking the $10 bill from her and walked out of the store with Jessica, holding her hand. She pulled me into Claire's which was one of the stores that sold a lot of One Direction items.

"I don't know what to get." Jessica said, looking at all of the items on the shelf. There was One Direction posters, wallets, necklaces, bracelets, books, etc. "Well, what's something you haven't gotten?" I asked her. She pointed towards the book and I grabbed it from her, handing it to her. "Is that all?" Jessica nodded and I followed her to the counter.

She placed the book on the counter and the girl at the counter smiled. "Will that be all for you?" she asked Jessica. I watched Jessica nod. She was just as polite as her sister. I paid for the book and handed it to Jessica. "Can you sign this for me Louis?" she asked as we walked out of the store. I smiled, "Sure." I took out a Sharpie marker I had in my pocket and signed the inside of the cover for her. "Thank you." she smiled.

She held out her hand towards me as I grabbed it and we began walking around the mall. Every time I glanced down at Jessica who talked about  a lot of things that were on her mind, she resembled Angela in a lot of ways. They had the same eyes, same long hair, and they had the same smile. Someday, Jessica would grow up to be as beautiful as her sister.

We went back to the clothing store. "Has she been any trouble?" Angela asked me as the three of us walked to the food court. "No, not at all. She's been a good girl. Entertaining actually." I smiled as the three of us sat down at the table. Jessica was eating a chocolate covered ice cream cone while Angela ate an ice cream sundae. "Want some?" she asked, holding out a spoon towards my direction.

"Sure." I smiled, taking the spoon from her and we shared the sundae together. Angela looked at the One Direction book and began reading it. "I don't want you getting ice cream on it Jess." she told Jessica.

"There are some interesting fact I didn't know about you and the other guys. I mean, I knew some." She closed the book and looked at me. "Do you ever do this with some of your other fans? I mean, do you ask pretty girls out on dates?"

"Not as often as you think. I would like to go out with a fan, but..."

"They have to be a certain age limit, don't they?" she asked with a smile. I've never had a real conversation with a beautiful girl in a while, except for Eleanor. I was afraid to mention that I had a girlfriend, but I figured that Angela had all ready known that. "I want more ice cream." Jessica said.

"Jess, I'm not giving you any more sugar." Angela said sternly. Jessica crossed her arms and huffed. "Read your book that Louis bought for you." Angela gently moved the book to her sister's side of the table. Jessica took the book and began to read it. "Usually she's in school, but its a weekend and our parents put me in charge of watching her until they come back from their trip." she said.

"It's okay. I don't mind." I smiled.

When Angela got off of work, we went back to her place and entered her house. "You have a beautiful home." I told her as she smiled. "Thanks. Just make yourself at home. I'll be down in a second." She closed the front door after we entered and then she headed upstairs. She dropped Jessica off at her friend's house while I went and sat down on the couch.

There were picture frames sitting on the coffee table. I picked one of them up. It was a picture of Angela when she was about Jessica's age. I set it down and waited for her in the living room. I heard footsteps travel down the stairs, so I stood up to meet Angela at the foot of the stairs. "Ready to go?" she asked me, putting on a jacket.

"You look beautiful." I smiled.

She blushed and smiled, "Thanks." We exited her house as she locked it behind us. We walked to a nearby restaurant and entered. A waiter showed us our table and we sat down. We ordered our drinks and food, then talked while waiting. "Do you come here often?" I asked her.

"All the time. I came here with my parents before Jess was born, but after she was born, things changed and I wasn't able to go anywhere but school." she said. "I like having Jess as a sister. It's like you don't have to be lonely all the time. You always have someone to talk to."

I nodded in agreement. "What do you do when you're not on tour?" she asked.

"I go back home to the UK and to see family." I said.

"It must be hard to not see them." she said.

"At first it is, but while I'm on tour, I call my mom to check in with her. You know, to see how she's doing." I smiled. Our food was served and then dessert came. This was one of the best nights in my life, so far. We paid for our meals after we were done and walked outside. We walked down the street back towards her house.

"Do you play any instruments?" I asked her.

"I play the piano which is a bit ironic because you play the piano too, right?" She looked at me with a smile. I nodded, "Yeah, that is ironic." As we talked, I never knew I had so much in common with a girl before. She was one of a kind. We stopped in front of her house. "Well, I really hope to see you soon Louis. I had a great time." she smiled.

"Me too Angela." I smiled. She walked up the front steps and began to unlock the door to her house. I waved her good bye as she waved back, then I walked down the street.

I arrived back at the hotel and entered the room. "So, how was your date?" Harry asked. I didn't answer him. I changed out of my clothes and got into bed. I knew that I'd fall asleep and have dreams about her; that I'd wake up and run into her again. Every second I spent with her, I was beginning to fall for her.
