Practically Parallel Poetry

Less parallel, and more horizontally symmetrical - but we're all suckers for alliteration, and this is no exception.

1. A Little Meeting for a Little Group.

If you like prettiness - you’re in the wrong place,

They’ll tell you.

I don’t need to say anything but the scars on my face,

Will do all the phallic talk for me.

The smiling China passed down from hand,

They didn’t stay still, like I’d planned,

How did I end up without a soul?

Looking through the looking glass.

Click-clacks and merry little taps,

Of feet.

And look at that, another babe who’s trapped,

In a gigantic spider web with you.

One, two, three, four, five and six kids

More lunch for me.
