70. prom <3

Okay guys heres the last chapter :D <3 xx Bre

Liam's P.o.v

The limo slowly pulled up the the Grand Chalet, the hall that the prom was taking place at. We all gracefully climbed out of the limo and took our dates by the arm. As we strolled in I felt the prying eyes of girls who showed up without dates. They looked pretty but I didn't really pay much attention to them. I felt as if I was blind but Bre was everything I could see. She looked breathtakingly beautiful in a strapless white gown. Her blonde hair was pulled back in an intricate braid that draped over her right shoulder. I let out a low sigh.

"What is it," Bre frowned. I couldn't tell her. None of the other guys had told their dates yet. Then again their dates didn't have Bre's eyes. I swear they weren't blue and they weren't green, they were the perfect middle. They just turned me on so much that I found myself getting lost in them all too often. I quickly covered up my long pause.

"It's just when I saw you that first time I didn't think I'd be lucky enough to have you as my girlfriend, let alone be here with you tonight." Bre just blushed and grinned, not knowing exactly what to say. Phew.

"Alright Liam just put on a happy face and don't look too upset about the-" "Ya know what don't even think about it," My conscious screamed. Unfortunately the night flew by. Bre and I were  dancing to "Isn't she lovely," by Stevie Wonder when Bre finally spoke. She had been unusually quite and that made me believe she knew something was up.

"I didn't know you could dance," she smiled up at me allowing me to not panic. Ah what the heck I should tell her. But not yet. Ill just have to do it after this dance. I gently twirled her around in a circle.

"What I don't have that dancer look like Louie," I smiled cockily. Bre giggled and thats when I decided it was time.

"Bre, can I talk you out on the balcony," I asked as I gestured in the direction of the balcony.

"Yeah is something wrong," she asked as we walked towards the double doors to the balcony. I just curtly nodded my head and hoped she didn't notice.

Bre's P.o.V

I followed a flustered Liam out the double doors and on to a pretty balcony. There were pretty twinkling lights that hung everywhere and reminded me of stars. I thought the night was going really well until the last 5 minutes. I shivered a little as a cool March wind blew. Liam picked up on this quickly and took off his suit jacket and entangled me in it.

"Will you please sit," he said in an almost inaudible voice. I nodded and we both took a seat on a  lovely, white stone bench. Under the lights, I noticed Liam's eyes weren't the usual happy brown. Instead, they were filled with hurt and a little puffy, as if he had been crying. Liam gazed into my eyes for what seemed like an eternity until he finally spoke up.

"I didn't wanna tell you in the beginning because I didn't want to ruin our night," he began. I froze as I tried to prepare myself for the unthinkable. Was he breaking up with me? This was one of the biggest fears I held ever since the boy with the smiling eyes told me he wanted me. I guess me not saying anything gave him cue to keep talking.

"Harry's stepdad found a copy of the disk with the song we wrote for you girls and he brought it to the recording studio to show one of his friends." "Apparently, his friend works for a huge record company and they want myself and the lads to make an album." I let what he had said just sink in.

"So your not breaking up with me," I blurted out and covered my mouth real fast.

"What," Liam replied confused. "Why would I ever want to break up with you, Im in love with you."

"LIAM!"I screeched. "Thats fantastic news!"

"That I love you?' "I thought I said it enough but I guess not," he started to say but I cut him off.

"No not that," I laughed. "That they want you to record an album!" "Why didn't you tell me earlier?" "How would you getting an amazing opportunity ruin my night," I blabbered on.

"The recording studio that we have to go to isn't here in California," he sighed.

"Well where is it," I said loosing enthusiasm.

"New York," he choked out.

"Well thats okay," I said trying to cheer him up. "I'll see you as soon as you come back."

"We are staying there until mid-July."

"Well when do you leave?"

"Tomorrow," he whispered. My heart ripped in half. It was just as bad as being broken up with. A million words rushed through my head. Long. Distance. Heartbreak. Never. Work. Fail. I could feel the tears building in my eyes but I couldn't cry in front of him. I had to show him that I'd be okay. Or at least act like I would be okay. Crap. How was I supposed to act okay when I couldn't even speak.

"Bre," Liam said taking my hand. God dam it Liam. You just had to say my name?! The tears dripped steadily down my cheek. Liam quickly wiped them away.

"I'm so sorry love," he said as he pulled me in for a tight hug. "I won't go Ill just let the lads go without me," he said trying to calm me.

"NO!" "You have to go," I cried. "I won't let you miss an opportunity like this."

"But Bre your a mess I can't leave you like this," Liam said as I pulled away from his embrace. I quickly wiped the tears from my face and faked a smile. Liam chuckled.

"Bre your a horrible actress."

"Ill be okay Liam I promise," I said as I walked back over to the bench and sat down. Liam took my face in his hands, forcing me to look at him.

"You promise," he whispered.

"I promise," I hoped. Liam slowly leaned in and pressed his lips to mine. I felt my body go numb and tingly like it always did when he kissed me. I tried not to think that this would be our last real kiss. I just tried to enjoy the moment. We kissed long and passionately, until we were both left gasping for air.

"I love you Bre," Liam said as he kissed my forehead.

"I love you too," I choked out. And then, he took my hand and pulled me in for a tight hug. And then, he leaned down one last time and pressed his cold lips to mine.
