Zayn's P.O.V

"No, no, no," I shook my head and stared at the sketch I had drawn. "This is all wrong."

"What are you talking about," Liam said as he looked over my shoulder at the sketchpad. "It looks just like her."

"It seriously does," Bre agreed. "Its as good as photo quality, maybe even better." I shook my head and looked at the girl I had drawn. It did resemble Priscilla a lot but, it just didn't seem to capture what I wanted it to. I was always hard on myself when it came to drawing but I knew this one just had to be perfect or else... I didn't want to think of the consequences if it wasn't perfect. I looked over at my friends because they were quite for too long especially with how much Bre talks. Liam and Bre were starring into each others eyes, like I wasn't even there. I sighed. I had a love like that once and I was determined to find it again. My heart ached for a relationship even remotely close to Bre and Liam's. They were just always so... happy together. Like they could have the worst problem in the world and they somehow knew they'd get through it because they had each other. They had only been in a few small disagreements but they always seemed to work it out. Sure, I'm almost positive neither Bre nor Liam have ever felt wounds such as great as mine when it comes to love.  Bre was only 15 going on 16 and Liam was much more cautious when it came to love. You can tell that from taking a quick glance at the two lovebirds that they didn't love each other for what they saw  but their personalities and what each one of them possessed. Both of them were very different then people of our age. The majority of young people don'f feel love truly in their hearts, but in their eyes. Teenagers fall in love with what they see. I considered this concept deeply. Did I feel so strongly about Priscilla for how she looked? No, Priscilla was very pretty but there was more to her then her looks and I wanted to find out more. Priscilla was like a good cliffhanger. We were friends but she always seemed to keep me wanting more. More knowledge. Thats what I wanted. I wanted to know every small detail about her. What was her favorite book or movie? What career did she want to pursue? When was her birthday? What was her favorite ice cream flavor? I scribbled these questions down on the same page I had drawn the portrait. Realization crossed my face and I knew what I had to do to not only comfort myself but to secure my feelings towards her. I had to be a better friend.

                                                                                  Bre's P.O.V

Liam wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer to him so now both our chests were touching. I stared into his eyes like they were a mirror. I could see my reflection in the sweet brown around his pupil. I don't know how long we stayed like that but I was interrupted by Zayn who had abruptly stood up.

"Zayn," I questioned. "What is it?"

"I know what I need to do," he said with a genuine smile.

"Well lets hear it then mate," Liam said smiling but never taking his eyes off of me. Intertwined with Liam, we both listened as Zayn divulged to us his plan to getting the girl.

"You can't tell her anything," Zayn looked at me sternly.

"what makes you think I'll tell her," I said getting defensive.

"Because you tell her everything!" Zayn exclaimed.

"I'm sorry," I mumbled. "She's my best friend."

"Well," Zayn waited.

"I'll be good I promise," I said truthfully. "So where are you taking her?"

"You mean WE," Zayn said emphasizing the "WE". Liam and I looked at each other confused.

"Call the boys," Zayn said grinning as he tossed Liam his phone. Liam caught it and quickly made a group message.

"What do you want me to say," Liam asked still confused.

"Tell them to get there asses over here now," Zayn said chuckling.

"whats so funny," I asked trying to hide a grin but to no avail. Zayn just had that smile that automatically brightened your day.

"I'll be right back," Zayn said as he began to walk down the narrow bridge and into the small cabin.

"Where are you going?'" I asked and started to follow him.

"I gotta go smoke a cig," he paused. "I always do when I'm nervous."

"Well why are you nervous?" I yelled after him.

"Cause I've never had this many people in my treehouse before," Zayn laughed from on the ground. I looked out the treehouse window at Zayn as he stumbled into his house. Before I knew what was going on Liam had me in a huge bear hug. He pressed his lips to mine with such force I would have fallen over if he wasn't holding me. I stopped fighting and settled into the kiss. I wrapped my legs around his waist and pulled myself closer to him. The kiss lasted for another good 30 seconds, until both of us were out of breath. Liam still held me, with my legs still wrapped around him.

"What was that for," I asked exasperated.

"We have our Zayn back," Liam smiled brightly. He bit his lip and cocked his head to the side.

"What," I questioned.

"Is it possible that after roughly 4 months, 3 days and 5 hours and 30 minutes that I can already say I'm in love with you?" I felt my cheeks get hot but I didn't turn away.

"It's possible because I feel the same way about you," I giggled and kissed his nose. Liam threw me on to the mattress and  hovered over me, kissing me passionately while we waited for the boys to arrive. Could things finally be getting better?
