One Chance

Bre is incredibly excited about starting her Freshman year in High school. I mean with her dating the freshman quarter back and her 3 best friends by her side what could possibly go wrong? Bre's life has its normal ups and downs like any other teenagers but, when she has a strange encounter with one of the totally hot juniors her life spins around. She is introduced to super hottie Liam Payne who saves her in more ways then one could imagine, all she has to do is give him the chance.

19. dinner :)

We finally pulled into the parking lot of this fancy little sushi restaurant downtown. Liam hopped out of the car, opened my door and walked me over to the hostess.

"How many," the pretty blonde hostess asked.

"Two," Liam mumbled.

"Right this way," the hostess said to Liam flirtatiously. I rolled my eyes and followed her to a table set for two.

"Do you want a kiddy menu," she asked me obnoxiously while she drooled over Liam's perfection. I swear everything was fake about this girl. Fake nose, fake squeaky voice, even perfectly fake boobs that she had horribly covered in a low v neck blouse. The girl pulled a small piece of paper out of her bra and looked like she was about to hand it to Liam. Are you kidding me!? Was she seriously going to try and give my date he number RIGHT in front of me!? I could feel my anger building up inside of me. I was just about yo flip out on the girl when Liam stepped in between us.

"Uhm excuse me, uh Emily," Liam asked as he read her name tag.

"Yes, she said flirty as she handed Liam the menu and the small scrap of paper.

"Your making my girlfriend," he put emphasis on the word ""girlfriend." (hehe). "and I very uncomfortable with your provocative staring at me and rude comments towards my girlfriend. "So I suggest you stop or I can easily find a new restaurant to take my girlfriend to for dinner." Emily turned a very unattractive shade of red and curtly nodded her head. I snickered and took my seat.

"You didn't have to do that," I said as Liam sat down.

"Yes I did," he said full of seriousness. "She was being utterly and completely immature.

"Well thank you,"  I said and picked up my menu. He nodded and I could feel his eyes on me. I tried not to notice but it finally got to me.

"Okay Liam what in the world are you staring at!" I said a little to loud. He blushed and smiled immediately.

"I'm sorry Bre but you just look so breathtaking I'm having trouble focusing on anything that isn't you," Liam said tenderly. I blushed even quicker than he had. My heart felt as if it was going to jump out of my chest. I sighed, he always knew the right thing to say. I finally looked at the menu and quickly found my favorite sushi roll. It was called the Dumbo roll and it was my favorite because they topped the roll with peanut butter, making it melt in your mouth. The waiter soon came and we ordered a bunch of exotic rolls. I thought about how Liam had gotten into that fight with Emily. He had said the word "girlfriend" twice in that dispute.  Did he really like me enough to make me his girlfriend? The sushi rolls showed up very quickly. I went to pick up my fork but there wasn't anything there, just chopsticks. Crap! I didn't Know how to use chopsticks! I usually used my hands! I looked up and saw Liam start to eat his sushi rolls with his chopsticks.  I tried to mimic his chopstick handling but epically failed and couldn't pick up a single roll. Liam looked up and saw me lay the chopsticks back on the table.

"Everything okay, Bre," Liam asked. I nodded. He looked at me closely.

"No," I laughed embarrassed. "I don't know how to used chopsticks I whispered, afraid to admit  that in a Japanese restaurant.

"Really," Liam asked chuckling. I nodded. Liam got up and moved his chair over next to me.

"Lemme teach you," he said picking up my chopsticks. "Like this," he said picking up a roll and tossing it into his mouth. "Now you try," Liam said with his mouth full of food. I giggled and took the chopsticks from him. He placed my hands properly on the chopsticks, placing his hands over mine. He helped me pick up a roll and helped feed me a roll. Liam laughed and assisted me with the rest of my meal. After that any uneasiness that was in the air between was completely gone. we talked about anything and everything starting with his family. Liam was one of three kids. He had two older sisters, Nicole and Ruth whom he adored (even if they did enjoy dressing him up as a kid.) He even told me how he was born 3 weeks early and had to get 32 injections as a kid because he was sick a lot.
