My Thoughts On... School

These are my thoughts. Know one else's. My brain. Unless I do nick ideas from someone else, although I don't usually do that. I hate, people copying work at school. Thinking of school, there are lots of things I could moan about. Scary dinner ladies, eccentric teachers and magical maths? I don't think so.

7. Lockers

LOCKERS

Moving away from lessons, we have the thing that people kill for… LOCKERS!

I can imagine people begging teachers not to let them have a bottom one so they don’t get trampled. In Year 7 and 8 I was allocated a top then a bottom, so in Year 9 I shoved through and bagged a toppy. Yay! There was a textbook left inside, but when I through it on the floor I realised that it wasn’t now a problem.

I feel responsible carrying a key, and I like lockers. I keep all my books in there to avoid a heavy bag on the way, as the walk from the station is uphill. The bag is always heavy, and the stuff they want us to carry is crazy.

But every year, there is always the dreaded… LOCKER INCIDENT!

Year 7  - I was doing a project with a kid, and he had the work in his code locker. I needed the stuff and my other friend said he could open it. We agreed to, but at the last moment I held back. However, with two turns of the dial it was open and we were shocked. Luckily, statements were only as far as it went, so we left that one. Also some time in the year, we found someone had written something about chocolate and the devil on my friend’s locker… crazy…

Year 8 was just a series of lockers being broken into, and got boring after a while. Some people didn’t have locks on there’s and found bottles and food inside. Not nice. There was that time when some kid through someone else into a bunch of lockers, and I wrote a statement on it – I drew a diagram to help! Our class was well behaved in Year 7, so this event was a bit of a shocker, and the conflict between the two was brimming, and this was the final explosion.

Year 9 there has been some graffiti already! Someone wrote on someone’s locker: ‘Do not steal, I won’t…’ it is slightly creepy, but this kid was new so I thought, oh well!

Know one was really shaken by it.

Packing stuff in lockers can be a total nightmare. Once, I fitted my jumper, trumpet, full school bag, full kit bag and books into my locker… no joke! I was always good at packing lockers… not so much for holidays.
