1. Chapter 1

Hi, my name is Madison Smith. I have long brown curly hair and blue eyes. I'm a senior in high school and I can't wait to get out of this hell hole.

It was a cold winters day. The air was thin and snow was lightly falling from the barely lit up sky. I was walking to the bus stop with my bestfriend, Amanda Winter. Her last name is ironic since she absolutely hates winter.

"So are you excited for Christmas?" Amanda asked smiling. As much as she hated winter she loved Christmas. Then again that is probably the only thing that got her through the season. Plus she was born in January so thats another thing.

"Yeah, not really for Christmas. Mostly for the two weeks we get off. I am tired of homework and nagging teachers always telling us what to do." I said laughing.

"Well think of it this way. We have like less then six more months of school. Then you won't have to deal with any of the nagging teachers."

"That's true. Thank god for that." I said pumping my fists in the air.

"Wanna know something exciting." Amanda asked running her fingers through her hair.

"Sure." I said looking at her. She took the deepest most dramatic breath I had ever heard.

"Are you sure you want to hear it? I mean it's so exciting you might just faint." She said smiling at me. My heart started to beat faster. I dont really know why? Maybe it was the anticipation.

"What is it?!" I asked getting annoyed.

"Ok well..... Your shoe lace is untied." She said before running away from me laughing. I looked down and groaned.

"That wasn't exciting at all!" I yelled. I kneeled down to tie them. We werent far from the bus stop so Amanda was already there. I could make out her silouette in the distance.

Once I finished tying my shoe the wind had started to pick up. So it wouldn't get a face full of cold wind I put my hood on and kept my face looking at the ground. I had taken three steps when I ran into somebody making me fall on my butt.

"Oh shit sorry! I wasn't paying attention to where I was going." Said a sexy british accent. What would someone with a british accent be doing in Michigan?

"Here let me help you up." I imediatley saw a hand in front of my face. I grabbed it and was easily hoisted to my feet.

"Oh it's alright." I said still looking at the ground in embarassment.

"Are you hurt?" He asked putting his finger under my chin lifting my head. When my eyes fell on him I gasped. i must have gasped out loud becuase he had a smug smirk on his face. In front of me was the most amazing human being I had ever laid my eyes upon. He had amazing blue eyes that sparkled even though it wasn't sunny outside and brown hair that was swept to the side in a semi messy way. He had a bit of stubble, but that added to the messy/professional look. He couldn't be more then twenty-four.

"Hello?" Said the sexy stranger pulling me out of my thoughts.

"Oh sorry. uhmm no.. well my butt kinda hurts from falling on it, but other then that i'm fine." I said smiling.

"Good. Sorry for running into you." He said looking into my eyes. It felt like he was looking into my soul. I blushed and looked away.

"uhmm, it's alright I wasn't paying attention either so I think it's both out faults." I said laughing nervously. "Well my friend is waiting for me so I better go." I said pointing in the direction i was going in.

"Alright, well bye." He said. When he finished talking I thought I saw a frown flash across his face, but I can't be to sure. I smiled then walked off towards the bus stop. I looked back to get one last glance at the mysterious stranger, but there was nobody in sight.

"Who was that person you were talking to?" Amanda asked raising one eyesbrow. I really need to learn how to do that.

"I honestly have no idea. We accidently ran into each other when I was getting up." I said dropping my backpack on the floor before crossing my arms over each other. "It's super cold! Where in the world is the bus?" I said groaning.

"There it is." Amanda said pointing in the direction of the bus. I sighed then picked up my backpack off the floor slinging it over my shoulder and getting on the bus.

"Take me to hell, Sam." I said going to sit down in mine and Amandas spot. Sam is the bus driver. Hes been my bus driver since I was in middle school and he has been my friend wver since. People say i'm weird for being friends with the bus driver, but i call it giving someone a chanse. I sat down and put in my headphones blocking out the noise of the annoying freshmen that sat a few seats ahead of us. I just sat there and looked out the window. I couldn't stop thinking of the mysterious stranger with the irrestisible british accent. I wonder if i'll ever see him again? Unlikely.
