One Month

Liam and Danielle broke up -- Again. Management doesn't want the media to give Liam a bad image, so they set him up with an actress. They have no idea what they both signed up for. Once they meet face to face, they realized that they already dated. They both want out, but management has them stay together for at least a month; then, if they don't like it, they can split. But a split for another couple might come early.

~Jennifer's POV~

It felt as if my brain was trying to smash through my skull. I had to hold my hand against my temples so stop the pounding, though it partially kept hitting the inside of my head over and over again. I groaned in complain and released my hand; thankfully, the pain wasn't as tremendous as before.

I decided to sit up properly and opened my eyes slowly, as my hangover headache raged on. I looked around the messy room and realized that it wasn't Liam's house, but a hotel room. The boys would not be happy if they found out that I trashed a hotel room being drunk and forgetting what happened last night.

I didn't feel so great, so I rushed out of the bedroom and into the washroom. My mouth filled with vomit and I made it to the lou before I spewed vomit on the walls.

I didn't remember what happened last night. I don't drink, which doesn't explain my sickness, so I have to find out what we did.

I was about to leave the washroom when I passed by the mirror and noticed something out the corner of my eye. I turned to face the gigantic mirror and my mouth had dropped twenty feet. I was almost completely naked except for the fact that I had on my bra and knickers.

I had screamed in utter disgust and cause someone to rush into the bathroom. Someone with fluffy brown hair and bright blue eyes, who was also just in his underwear.

"Is there a pro-Whoa!" Louis stared at me intently, making me want to beat him senseless.

"No, no, no, no, NO!" I roared and he looked confused then his pupils dilated bigger than ever as he realized we both were half naked. I looked him in the eyes and had remembered all the events of last night. Every. Single. Detail.

"I have an idea." Louis spoke to us, "Let's go to this new club in downtown London." Most of us agreed to go. Liam and I were probably going to end up watching the lads anyways, since we don't drink, so we agreed aswell.

"I can't." El gushed, "I have classes tomorrow, maybe another time?"

"Okay." Louis frowned, "Sir, could you drive to the University of Manchester first?"

"El, are you sure you can't come?" Perrie and I urged.

"Classes are early and end very late! I can't miss another day because there is a possibility that I might get kicked out." Eleanor complained.

"Don't leave us alone with the boys! You're the only one who can control them!" I sarcastically pleaded.

"Sorry, hun, you''re on your own." She shrugged, and laughed a little.

"Not cool. I'm basically going to be alone with five guys on tour for the rest of the time because Little Mix goes on tour Saturday, While you can't miss another day fro the rest of the semester!" I frowned.

"Sorry, but I have to go now. Bye guys!." El hugged each of us separately and gave Louis a long and lingering kiss as she walked off the bus. I felt a pang of jealousy strike through my body when El kissed him, but I shook the feeling away.

"Now the fun begins!" Louis gave our driver directions to the club. I couldn't help but notice how perfect he was; his hair was always messy on purpose and his eyes were mimicking the oceans. I didn't feel like this for anyone before, not even Liam, but I liked this feeling.

No, I didn't like this feeling! I needed to stop thinking that because Louis has a girlfriend and I'm supposed to be helping Liam with his image; he was supposed to be with a girlfriend for the rest of his career, but Danielle wasn't a fake girlfriend like I am.

"You okay, Jen?" Perrie waved a hand in front of my face.

"What? Oh, yeah." She giggled when I didn't look back.

"Okay..." She trailed off and continued her conversation with Zayn and Niall.

"What's wrong?" Liam whispered.

I shook my head, "Nothing."

"Then why are you staring at Louis?" His tone got serious, "He has a girlfriend, who happens to be your friend you know."

"Zoned out I guess and I'm looking at the road." Nice save, Jennifer.

"Be careful. Louis is not a good person when it comes to him being drunk. If I were you, I'd stay away from him entirely because both of you are in inseparable relationships." Liam's warning didn't phase me because it was none of his business who I liked.

The bus had stopped, making me lose my train of thought and bringing me back to reality. We all got off the tour bus and sent the driver home for the night, since we would be staying out and won't need anyone to drive us somewhere.

Women were going crazy over the boys and some were disgusted to see Liam hold my hand. A couple of girls whispered to each other and then would laugh and shout insults at me. Liam pulled me into the club as quickly as possible because he knew I always felt insecure about myself.

"I never got to ask what happened with you and Danielle. So what happened exactly, Liam. I want the full story." My voice trembled because of the comments those girls yelled at me because they loved Danielle and Liam together.

When we got into the club, Zayn and Perrie went to dance while Niall and Harry went prowling and Liam, Louis and I went towards the back of the club to the bar.

He lead me to the bar and set me on a stool, "She got mad that I never spent my free time with her and she left me after this big argument." He shrugged like it was no big deal. Liam took a vacant seat next to mine and Louis sat on the other side of me.

"Sex on the beach for me. Jen, you want anything?" Louis looked over to me with a dazzling smile.

"How about some shots?" I spoke without thinking.

"And a round of shots." Two shot glasses were set onto the bar top and Liam pulled me away.

"What are you doing? You don't drink."

"So you'd rather have me remember the hate in the morning than to drink my pain away? Not a chance, Payne! Besides, I've never been drunk before; I heard it's fun!" I yanked my arms from his grasp and walked back to Louis.

My flashback was disturbed by someone's phone ringing. I recognized it as the ringtone I set for Liam, so I darted from the washroom to search for it. The sound was coming from in the mini fridge, so I opened it and sure enough, my phone was there and almost frozen.

I picked it up and placed it against my ear, helping with my headache, "Yes, Liam."

"Jennifer, are you alone?" He sounded frantic.

"Uh, yeah. Why?" I looked around but I think Louis was still standing in the washroom doorway.

"There was a drunk girl that I helped last night, right? Well, I didn't see her face good enough last night and I think it's Danielle."

"Wait, Danielle as in ex girlfriend Danielle? Where are you guys, because I know you wouldn't take her back to your flat."

He hesitated before answering, "We're in a hotel room. I didn't know where she could have gone because she wouldn't tell me so we got a hotel room and I put her to sleep. Then when I woke up, the back of her head looks like Danielle's."

"What hotel?" I peered out the window, careful not to expose my body and saw the club we were at yesterday. So Lou and I were not far from where we went yesterday and our room looked like it was on the fifth floor.

"Uh, the one across from the club, third floor." He was two floors beneath us, "Room 329."

"Just let my get ready and I'll be over sooner than you think." I huffed and ended the call, throwing my phone on the bed during the process. I went to find my clothes in the messy room and managed to find my dress and one of my high heels and slipped on my dress. I took my newly loose side braid out and place the scrunchy on my wrist so I don't lose that either.

"That was Liam. He said he helped a drunk girl from the bar and it might be Danielle."

Louis snapped out of his trance, "Danielle?"

"Yeah, Danielle. I'm going to his room and you are going to go back home to Eleanor. Don't speak about this to anyone." I growled.

"Wouldn't want to; El would kill me, management would kill me, and Liam would kill me." He ruffled his hair before leaving the room, and entered a few minutes later with his chinos on and searching for his shirt, reminding me more of last night.

"Why don't we ditch this scene?" Louis slurred into my ear. He pulled me away before I could answer and no one tried to stop us because Liam had went to the men's room and the others were busy.

Louis started to kiss me and I didn't pull back, I let him take advantage of me, "Why don't we get a hotel room?" I asked , seductively and we ran across the street to this fancy hotel.

The man at the concierge could tell that Lou and I were drunk, but gave us a room key and Louis tipped the man, "The room is 517. the fifth floor. Don't have too much fun." The worker mumbled and Louis and I laughed when we reached the elevator.

There was a man in the elevator who pressed the buttons for the guests. Louis and I showed him the room number and he pressed the button entitled '5'.

"Now let's have some fun." Louis whispered seductively and slurred at his words. We slid the key and the monitor granted us access to the room.

"You know the first time we met, in headquarters when we were waiting for Liam, I fell in love with you at first sight. I love you." Louis brought his face close to mine and we snogged again.

I didn't care how pissed I was, but I knew I didn't regret what I said next, "I love you too, Louis." With that, we did 'it'.

"Lou, do you remember last night?" I asked as he pulled his shirt over his head.

He had to think about it before responding with, "No, I was out of my head. I had no idea what I did."

"What about said. Do you remember our conversation when we first enter the room?"

"Not a clue." He fixed his hair in the mirror, "Why?"

"Because you told me that you loved me." I murmured, barely audible.

"I told you that? Well, I was drinking a lot last night and so were you. You might have not remembered correctly." He sounded serious, "Anyways, I have to get to El. I promised her that I'd spend the day with her later. She has classes now, so I'll spend it with Zayn maybe." Lou left the washroom and I heard a slamming door behind him.

I couldn't help but let a few tears escape as I thought about what he said last night and what he told me just now. Liam warned me and I didn't listen; a drunk night with Louis was the absolute worse. After a few more minutes, I wiped away my tears and made myself look presentable. I grabbed my personal belongings that I could find and took the stairs to the third floor.

"Liam?" He turned to face me, "Why are you outside of the room?"

"Cuz there's no one else in there. I just wanted to ask you something." Liam's eyes softened.

"What'd you wanna ask?"

"Well, Jennifer, I wanted to know if you wanted to be my real girlfriend, and not just a fake. I love you."

All I could do was smile and nod my head, I was lost for words. His lips found mine and our lips moved in sync, "I love you, too, Liam."

When Liam kissed me, it wasn't a drunk kiss like Louis', it was more passionate and real. I loved that about Liam, how he wasn't afraid of showing his feelings, how he was a great kisser, everything.

"Let's announce our real relationship to the lads, then." Liam spoke when he broke the kiss. He grabbed my hand and he lead me to the elevator. When we got downstairs, Liam paid for his hotel room and the concierge looked at me funny, remembering that I came with another guy.

"Hey, Liam, could you go get a cab, I need to do something really quick!" I urged him from the lobby.

"Okay, I love you!"Liam kissed my forehead before leaving.

I looked at the concierge, "The man you came with already paid for the room. You can go." He said annoyed, I felt embarrassed that Lou paid for the room and hurried out the door to Liam.

"I tipped him." I shrugged as I got into cab that Liam called, "Oh! Liam, text the boys to meet us at headquarters."

"Already did, babe." He smiled and my stomach bursted into butterflies when he called me 'babe'. Soon, we were at headquarters, greeted by the guy who brought me here the first time; Paul.

"Hey Liam," Liam gave him a bear hug, "Jennifer." I shook his hand.

"We have important news to tell the band. Are the lads here?"

"Yeah, down the hall, second door to the left." Paul instructed and followed Liam and I there. Every once and a while, Liam and I would look towards one another and smile; real smiles of joy and love, not fake ones that were just friendly. I really did love Liam, no matter what happened with Louis last night.

"Jennifer!" All the boys, except Louis, came over and gave me a big hug.

"Hi guys. So, as you know, Liam and I have news to  tell you all." I smiled up at Liam.

"Jennifer and I are in a real relationship. The whole 'one month' thing was an over reaction. We love each other." Liam kissed my lips and the boys congratulated us. Though, when Liam said 'love', I saw something in Louis' eye; jealousy.

"That's fantastic, I knew it would happen! Zayn owes me ten!" Niall shouted.

Zayn growled, "Ugh, fine! Only because you'll never stop bugging me till I pay." He took his wallet from his back pocket and handed Niall a bank note.

"So'd you guys do it?" Harry smirked.

"No." I shot back, reminding me of how I had done it with Louis and how much I hated him.

Harry put his arms up in defense, "Sorry, sorry." he backed away and knocked into a low rise coffee table.

"So, Liam." Louis spoke.

"Was it Danielle that you helped?" Lou sneered. The other boys stopped what they were doing and stared at Liam and me in confusion.

Liam cleared his throat before shrugging, "No. It was some random drunk chick. I left her there and paid for the room." Lou just nodded.

I could feel Lou's jealousy rising and it felt awkward, "Why don't we go shopping and grab a bite? It's your day off, let's not waste it!" I suggested.

The boys replied with 'yeah's and 'sure's in response, but Niall, "YES! I haven't eaten all day! I was in the middle of driving the lads and I to get breakfast before I got a text from Liam."

"Not all of us can fit into Niall's car." Zayn said.

Louis took out his phone and quickly dialed a number, "I'll call a cab."

We all gathered out side and decided who was being put into which vehicle. Neither Louis or me were included in the discussion while the cab pulled up.

"Only four of us can fit into Niall's car, two in the cab." Harry winked at Liam and I.

"Well, I have to tell Louis something in private. You guys go and we'll meet you for lunch. I love, you Liam." I gave him a kiss and took Lou into the second cab.
