What Would I Give?

What would I give to feel her squeeze my hand again? To feel her lips press against mine? To hear her sweet laugh? To look into her beautiful eyes? Or even to just say one last goodbye? The answer young 16 year old Niall Horan is simple, anything. Now three years later does he still mean it? Would he be willing to start all over? Or will her give up? Love always comes with a price. 14. Memories that are Forgoten

Fay's Prospective:

I open my eyes and look over at my beeping alarm clock. It told me it was 9 which meant I had one hour to get ready. I jump out of bed and run to my shower. After I finished my shower and blow drying my hair, I looked through the cloths Niall had bought me yesterday. I put on a pair on light blue jeans and a white blouse with pastel flowers on it. I searched through my jewelry box, something I hadn't had the time to do yet and find a little silver shamrock necklace I put it on along some matching silver studs and a silver ring.

I hear a knock at the door and a moment later Ronan yell up to me, "Fay Niall is here!"

I run down the stairs, garbing a pair of white lace toms before I get to the door. "Hi Niall!" I say with a smile.

"For someone who told me not to be late it looks like you just finished getting ready." he jokes.

"Are you saying I don't look good?" I question him putting on a pout.

"I could never even think that! Your beautiful." He says smiling.

"Nice save there Niall!" Ronan yells from the living room.

"Bye Ronan!" I yell over my shoulder to him as I walk out the door.

"So, when you first moved here I showed you around. So I was thinking-" he starts to explain.

"Wow you were thinking! I hope you didn't hurt yourself!" I interrupt him.

"Shut up Fay and let me finish!" he says shaking his head as we walk.

"Fine I'm sorry." I apologize.

"So, as I was saying, I was thinking we could go to the same places in the same order. Maybe it will help you remember!" he says hopefully.

"It might not Niall, just don't get your hopes up to high." I remind him.

"I know! I know! So, our first stop was a diner because neither of us had eaten." he says pulling towards an old looking diner.

Niall spent the rest of the day showing me around, but still nothing. I still had no memory of any of it. None whatsoever! I could tell Niall was a little more then a tad disappointed. We had seen all of Mullingar in one day. Niall says that it had taken us two days when we were 14.

Now we were almost back at our houses and I didn't want to let him go. I could also tell he was far from giving up. He loved her. Well me I guess. But it must be hard for him. I was about to turn and go up to me house when he grabs my hand and says, "We aren't done yet."

"What?" I ask more then a little confused.

"I still haven't shown you our spot." he says with a smile.

"Our spot?" I question.

"Yeah, come with me." he says leading me into his back yard. He pulls me through a small white gate and into a little clearing. Fireflies are our only source of lights, but even in the dark I can see the beauty of this place. I look up and see the stairs before I turn around slowly taking it in. The clearing has a small white swing in between two trees, a swing for two. Around the swing is a mosaic of sea glass. It's completely perfect.

"We put in the gate together, we didn't want anyone to disturb us." he says as he closes the gate. He walks over to the swings and sits before turning to a hole in a tree and pulling out a metal box that has stickers all over it. He opens it with key, but I can barley make out what's in the box in this light. Niall takes a torch out of the box and shins it inside so I can see. "This was our box." he whispers.

Inside is an old camera and lodes of pictures. Some of us making silly faces at each other. Niall pics up one picture and hides it. "What is it?" I ask taking it from him.

"Our first kiss." he mumbles. "Our friends were hiding in the bushes and got a picture of it."

I look down at us. We look younger and cuter. The two of us together. The picture was perfect and I had to admit it brought back the smallest hit of a memory, but nothing more.

"Anything?" he asks.

"Nothing, sorry." I say looking down.
