2. Chapter 1

Eloise's POV

"Please buckle your seatbelt and prepare for our decent," I heard the flight attendant say over the intercom. I fastened my seatbelt and looked out the window. So this is England.

I quickly took out my mirror from my tote and ran my fingers through my long beachy blond waves. Checking to make sure the small amount of makeup I was wearing was all good, I put it back in my bag. I just wanted to make the best first impression I could.

I felt my leg start to shake as the nervous jitters came. The flight attendant game by interrupting my thoughts and making me jump.

"Hi Miss. Could you please put your tray in the upright position?" She asked. I smiled and nodded, completely forgetting to do that when I was consumed in my own thoughts. I had never even seen a picture of my real father, let alone meet or talk to him.

The last thirty minutes flew by. Before I knew it I was going down the escalator to the pick up station. I saw people all around me running up to their loved ones, hugging, kissing, while I just awkwardly stood there.

Finally I saw a man with glasses holding a sign with my name on it. I sighed, "Well it's now or never." I approached the man, plastering a fake smile on my face.

"Hi are you Eloise?" He asked.

Woah, I wasn't expecting that deep of a voice. "Umm Yea, is this Paul?"

"No, follow me." He turned around and walked away without turning back to check if I was following. I had no choice but to follow so that's exactly what I did.

He brought me to this black car with tinted windows, opening the back door and gesturing for me to get in. I did what was expected of me only turning back to ask where my bags were. I had totally forgot to pick them up in all the excitement.

"They have already been picked up and placed in the trunk," he simply replied before hopping in the drivers seat. I sat down and buckled my seat belt just before the mysterious guy pulled out.

A voice to my left made me jump, "Sorry about all the secrecy," a middle age man looked at me, studying my features. I looked into his eyes, studying him as well.

He had the same blue-green eyes as me, the same nose. However, he had much darker hair than I did and had much rougher features compared to my soft ones. I saw him looking at me, waiting for a reply.

"I'm sorry, what?" I asked, blushing. I was already being rude to him.

"That's alright, Eloise. I was just saying, my name is Paul and I'm your father, but you already know all of that. Other than you I have no children...that I know of. I'm from Ireland but have a house here in England too. I am a body guard and that's pretty much it!" He said and waiting for a response.

"Umm you can call me Ella..." I replied, not knowing what else to say.

He laughed at my nervousness, seeming to be very understanding and kind. "You don't have to be nervous Ella, nothing going to happen to you, you're safe now." He said looking at me with kind eyes. I smiled and nodded.

"Well now that we are all acquainted, I have some bad news."

Oh great, what are you? A serial killer?

"I'm going to be going on a 3 month trip to take care of someone famous while they are on tour. I'm not aloud to tell anyone who I'm touring with yet but we have to make a choice. I don't have any kids and I'm not married so I live alone. I would feel bad so you could either live the crazy life with me or..."

"I would prefer not to travel anywhere, it was hard enough to make the plane ride here without throwing up." I whispered the last part.

"Oh...I'm sorry about that. Okay! That's no big deal. My other option is...well I don't know if you've heard of this band called One Direction, but they are all around your age and said they would love to have you for the next three months...would that be okay?"

What could I say? No? I just want to go home? I was going to be living with a complete stranger anyways, so why not live with five of them?

"Sure," I replied. The rest of the 30 minute ride was filled with an awkward silence. I looked out the window while the sun began to set. I felt tears start to well up in my eyes but I quickly brushed them away as Paul mumbled, "We're here."

I hopped out and looked around. We were in a cul de sac surrounded by five, white, two story, very similar looking houses. Paul and the mysterious driver grabbed my bags and guided me to the house in the middle that had all the lights on.

Paul just opened the door and set my bags down in a small sitting room. "BOOOOOYS!" He called making me jump. He turned his attention to me as we heard five pairs of feet running to the door, "Okay, well I have to get going. Introduce yourself. Make your self at home. Decide who you want to live with. All of that. I put a phone in your bag. Call and text me if anything goes wrong or if you just want to get to know me better. I have to get going now because I leave first thing tomorrow morning." He gave me a quick awkward hug and left me as five boys approached me all with excited faces.

"ELOISE!" They chanted.

Well this is going to be interesting.

A/N hey guys! I know it's starting off slow but don't worry from here on in, it'll be all about the boys. THANKS SO MUCH TO WHOEVER IS READING THIS!
