Today is the Day ~One Direction Fanfiction~

Niall's life was totally normal until one day when he gets told to babysit 17 year old Audrey. He instantly falls for her, but it seems like the other lads do too. Will Audrey ruin the boys relationship? Or will they be able to keep it together?

16. Henry...

I smile and think: this is my job, this is what I do for a living, and its what I’ve always wanted” ~Liam Payne

*Liam"s Pov*

It was around 6 am, Audrey and I were standing in the airport waiting for Niall to arrive. Audrey had spent all night long crying her heart out with joy. Management had called me about an hour ago telling me to pick Niall up at the airport, unnoticed.

I pulled my hood up around my face a little more and I glanced over at Audrey. She was studying her phone carefully, a small smile dancing on her lips.

"What are you smiling about?" I asked her as I took my figure and poked her cheek.

She squealed with laughter and turned to face me. "Just something Harry sent me." I nodded and leant toward her, and she tilted the phone so I could see the screen. It was a picture of a fan licking Harry's cheek. I looked at Audrey wide eyes which only made her burst into laughter.

"Wait, when did you get Harry's number?" I thought Niall had blocked it the night he took her home.

"I've had it since the night of the bonfire when I got everyone's number. Why?"

Oh no reason, just the fact that nail and I thought that Harry shagged you and then abused you, leaving that huge bruise on your cheek, which to a matter of fact is long gone. "Uhhh... No reason." I answered quietly as I dropped my eyes to the floor.

"Liam, you can't lie. What are you hiding?" She took her index finger and tilted my chin up so I was forced to look at her.

I sighed, my eyes shifting around the airport. "Do you remember that night? At Josh's party?"

She nodded signaling me to continue. "Do you remember the bruise? And how I found you crying in the guys bathroom?"

Audrey was now sitting up straight, her eyes focused on her hands. She nodded slowly.

"Do you remember who left you there? Who gave you the bruise?" She shifted nervously.

"I-I-I..... I do. It was H-"

I turned my head sharply to see a guy, probably in his early 20s, brown hair and burning blue eyes. He eyed me suspiciously as I did the same to him. Audrey hadn't said a word, not moved at all. Actually I wasn't even sure if she was breathing. I tried to find any emotion written on her face, but I soon found it, fear.

"H-h-h Henry?"
