Time and Distance

In most cases, distance makes the heart grow fonder. But as Keaton Stromberg starts touring the country on his journey to fame, he leaves his love, Lily Lovanya, back home in Huntington Beach, California. As time goes by Lily starts to question her strength and love. Will their love stretch like the miles between them? Or will it fade like the seconds that pass by?

2. Angels

Today was just another day alone. Keaton hadn't texted me all day, he hadn't called at all yesterday either. I had sent him a few messages, he never replied. So here I am laying on my bed staring at the ceiling, half expecting him to just walk in my room at any second. There was a knock on my door. I got off my bed and lazily opened it. It was my mom.

"Lily, honey, why don't you come downstairs for a while." she asked softly looking at me with pleading eyes. "It's been a week since I've seen your face."

"Sorry mom, I had lots of homework," I put on a smile. "I'll come down for a bit I guess."

My mother smiled and walked down the stairs, I followed her down. It's just her and I living together in our small little house. My father left when I was a baby, I don't really know him much. We talk though, I've never met him in person though. He lives across  the country in New York.

"How about we watch a movie Lil?"

I looked to my mom as she sat on the couch and looked at me. I couldn't think of any excuses as of why I couldn't sit with her so i just plopped down beside her and kept on smiling. "Sure! Let's watch something scary."

We ended up watching Children of the Corn for the hundredth time. I didn't go back up to my room until the clock struck midnight. Just as I was about to fall asleep, my phone went off.  It was Keaton.

"Hey Lily babe so sorry i haven't kept in touch! I've been so busy and tired... idk if i can do this whole 'fame' thing hahaha hope i didnt wake you! its 3 am here!"

With droopy eyes I read the message and smiled a bit. I should have replied and I was going to, but I fell asleep half way with my phone in my hands.
