Zayn always flirts with her, even if it's just to bug her. One day, Zayn shows up at her house, with a gash on his forehead. She helps him clean up. After that moment, they begin realizing how much they cared for each other. Violet goes through pain, suffering, heartbreak, and thrill. But I guess that's what happens when you fall in love with a werewolf.

2. First Day

I scream, throwing my shaking hands over my mouth. I stand, paralyzed from fright. Lightning flashes again, and it's gone.
I turn on my heels and run up the stairs. I jump under my comforter and bring it over my head. I wasn't one to be scared easily, but this frightened me. I look at the purple flowers on the underside of the blanket. They are moving. Then, I realize that the flowers aren't moving, but I am shaking.
I try to escape the thoughts that someone was going to come into my house, rape me or maybe even kill me.
I close my eyes, in hopes of getting sleep. No luck.
Lightning flashes, scaring me.
I let out a whimper, trying to remember what the silhouette looked like.
It was tall, maybe 5'9 or 5'10. It was dark, so dark. It most likely was a boy, maybe even a man.
I think about it for what seemed like minutes, but I then hear Bruno Mars blaring throughout my room.
"One, two, one, two, three
Oh yeah yeah
Oh yeah yeah yeah
Oh yeah yeah!" I slam my had down on the 'OFF' button on my alarm clock. I take my phone off the charger and plug it into the dock.
I hit shuffle and head to the bathroom.
"Right from the start
You were a thief
You stole my heart
And I your willing victim
I let you see the parts of me
That weren't all that pretty
And with every touch you fixed them." I sing along to the music, moving my hips.
I walk to my closet searching through my clothes.
"Now you've been talking in your sleep oh oh
Things you never say to me oh oh
Tell me that you've had enough
Of our love, our love
Just give me a reason
Just a little bit's enough
Just a second we're not broken just bent
And we can learn to love again."
I practically yell. This was my favorite song. I pick out a loose purple tank top that said 'hakuna matata♡' I sway my hips to the beat, throwing the tank over my head. I search through my closet for something to wear on the bottom half. I find some mostly purple galaxy leggings. I hop around, pulling them up my long legs. I search for my light purple stilettos. I find them and stumble around fitting them onto my feet. I walk into my bathroom and apply mascara. I don't like to use much more than that, but since it was my first day, I wanted to make an impression. I finish my make up and move to my hair. I straighten some wild parts, but I mostly left it natural. It was naturally wavy, so the blonde curls cascaded over my exposed shoulders. The dark mascara is making my blue eyes pop. I admire myself for a little while, pleased that I looked decent. I walk out of the bathroom, then turn around and grab my necklace off the counter and lace it around my neck. It was long and hung right between my breasts. It was a golden sun. I had always admired it. I grab my phone off the dock right as Demi Lovato was singing the high note in Heart Attack. I walk downstairs and hear dishes clanging.
"Yeah?" She asks, pouring milk into my cereal.
"Just making sure it was you," I say, nervous after last night.
"Mmm," she hums. "I have to leave for work, here's your food."
She says, shoving the bowl in my direction.
"You have to go to work? Already? You just got back!" I exclaim.
I know, it's insane," she huffs. "But I have to do it."
She says, tossing the other car keys at me. "Don't scratch it." She says, coldly.
"Yeah, yeah," I mumble as I hear the door slam.
I get the last piece of the cereal as I put the bowl in the sink.
I open the door to see more rain.
"Great." I say dryly.
I hop in the light blue 1971 Beetle.
I walk in the big blue doors and am immediately bombarded with papers flying, kids running around. I flinch as a piece of paper hits me square in the nose.
"Hey kid," someone says.
I turn to the left and see Willa standing there.
"Willa! Hey!" I walk towards her.
She's standing with a girl with red hair and piercing green eyes. Not ginger, no. Actually red.
There is also a boy there, hands stuffed deep in his pockets. He had brown eyes with brown hair. His jaw structure was mezmerizing.
"Guys this is Violet, she just moved here. Violet, this is Finn and-"
"I can introduce myself. I'm Alex. But you can call me Red." She interrupts.
"Heh, okay, hi!" I exclaim, awkwardly holding up a hand.
"Hey guys." Reed walks over and plants a kiss on Alex's lips.
I just smile.
I decide to get a better look at everyone. Finn is leaning against the wall, with a black tee shirt, and dark jeans. He looks like a total bad ass. I avert my gaze from him to Willa. She is wearing a 'Meow.' black tank top, with white jeans and black high tops.
Alex is wearing a white tank top with the Starbucks logo on it. She has green and white Aztec leggings on with white stilettos with a green bow on them.
Reed is wearing a red tee shirt with the Flash symbol on them with lighter jeans.
"What class do you have first?" Reed asks, one arm around Alex's waist.
"Erm, Algebra 2. Anyone with me?" I ask, glancing at my schedule.
"I do, I'll walk you down there. We don't have to go right now, though." Finn says, quite sexily, I might add.
Just then, a rush of cold air runs through the building. I slowly turn towards the door. It seems the whole hall goes into hush. All eyes were on the figure walking into the hall.
He had black Raybans on, with a black leather jacket, with dark jeans, and to top it off, he had on black combat boots.
It felt like everything was moving in slow motion. He takes off his sunglasses in a very sexy way, and glances at me with the darkest eyes I have ever seen. My breath hitches in my throat and my stomach goes crazy. He glances away. He turns a corner and it seems as if the entire hallway lets out a sigh of relief. I turn back to everyone.
"Who was that?" I ask.
"That, my friend, was Zayn Malik. He's nothing but trouble. Do everyone a favor, sweetheart, stay away from him." Alex says icily, and I couldn't help but wonder if they had history.
She was glaring at me, so I assumed they did.
"Shall we?" Finn says, hoping to ease the tension.
"Sure," I say, nodding my head shakily.
He steps from behind Alex's icy glare, shoving her.
He puts his hand on the small of my back, leading me towards the classroom.
Finn gets close to my ear, hot breath on my neck.
"You know, you might not be able to have him, but you can have me." I shiver under his touch, which had lowered a bit.
Unsure of what to do, I nod. He just chuckles. We walk into the classroom and all eyes are on us.
"I gotta go," Finn says, walking towards his seat, trailing his hand a little longer than he should have on my lower back.
"Hi, I'm Violet, I'm new here." I say, walking towards the teacher.
"Hello Miss..."
"Rashthed. Please take a seat. I'm Mr. Burner." He says, gesturing to the seats.
I smile at him and head to the only seat available.
I sit down and look around. Finn is two seats in front of me. I sigh. I look to my left and there is a girl with bleach blonde hair tapping her pencil repeatedly against her desk. That could get annoying.
Then, I catch my breath. I could feel the eyes, staring at me. I didn't know why I didn't notice it earlier. I let out a shaky breath and slowly turn my head around. I see him, staring at me with those dark eyes.
"Can I help you?" I was surprised at how even my voice sounded.
He just lets out a husky laugh.
"What?" I ask.
"You're so innocent, vulnerable." He answers in a deep, British accent.
I roll my eyes and turn back to the lesson Mr. Burner was teaching. I could feel his eyes on me the whole lesson.
The bell takes me out of my thoughts and I quickly shut my notes and work and hurry out of the room. Finn catches up to me in the hallway.
"What do you have next?" He asks.
"Uh, Acting." I say, once again, glancing at my schedule.
"You an actress?"
"Hoping to be." I say, closing my locker.
He just smirks.
"Well I have Video Production now, so see you later." He continues walking down the hall.
The hall was almost deserted, just a few last minute kids, rushing to classes. I realized I had no clue where Acting was. Everyone in the hall was gone. I sigh and shift my weight, debating on what to do.
Then, I feel it. The hairs on the back of my neck stood straight up and made my skin crawl.
"Need help with something?" He asks.
"Uh, no thank you, I'll find my way," I say, turning so I could see him.
Then, I turn back around, walking in a random direction.
"You know, that's the wrong way."
I stop.
"How do you know? How do you know what class I'm in?" I ask, worried.
"I don't."
"Then, how do you know I'm going the wrong way?"
"Because the only thing in that direction is the janitors closet. Unless you are planning on being a janitor." He laughs a deep laugh.
I roll my eyes and turn to him, placing a hand on my hip.
"Then can you tell me where Acting is?" I scoff.
"You're cute when you're pissed off."
"Can you just tell me?" I ask, irritated.
"What's the magic word?" He asks in a condescending tone.
"Please?" I say in a sour sweet voice.
He points to the room we were standing right next to.
"There you go sweetheart."
"Shut up jack ass." I walk towards the room and open the door.
"Sorry, I got lost." I say, turning my head and shooting him a glare. He just smirks.
I make it to barely make it to lunch, since Zayn just happened to be in almost every class of mine, and the teachers just happened to seat me next to him in all the classes. I sit get my lunch and search the cafeteria. I immediately see Zayn, sitting alone in the corner. I contemplated sitting by him, then immediately pushed the thought away. I find Alex's fiery red hair and Willa's blonde hair and begin to walk towards them. I stand in front of them, asking for permission to sit.
"Go ahead now, sit." Alex says crossly.
I nod and sit down. Immediately, Reed and Finn come up.
"Sup Little Red, New Girl, and ew, hello Sister!" Reed says, playfully kissing Alex's cheek.
To confirm he was joking, he kisses Willa's head.
"Gross!" Willa exclaims.
We all laugh and eat our lunches.
I look at Finn, and he wasn't eating.
"Why aren't you eating, Finn?" I ask, curious.
"I don't like food that much," he shrugs.
"What?" I gape. "How can you not like food?"
He just shrugs.
I look at Willa for help. She shrugs as well.
"We have tried to ask him about it, but he refuses to answer a direct question." She waves a hand in his direction. "He's impossible."
I just laugh.
I drive home from school, hoping to get some sleep. I walk in and throw my keys on the counter as I enter the kitchen. I sigh and grab a Caprisun out of the fridge. I love Caprisuns. I collapse on the couch and flip on the TV to Sweet Home Alabama. I shut my eyes and kick off my heels. I was about to fall asleep when I hear a knock at the door. I sigh and stand up, heading towards the door.
"Yes?" I ask opening the door.
Once I see it's Willa and Reed, I leave the door open and head back to the couch.
"Come on in!" I shout.
They walk over and Reed sits on the recliner, and Willa lifts up my legs and sits underneath them.
"Can we turn this chicken shit off?" Reed asks.
I laugh.
"C'mon Reed! You'll love it!" I protest. He just rolls his eyes.
At the end of the movie, I glance over at Reed and I can see tears in his eyes.
"Reed are you crying?" I ask, laughing.
"No." He says, blinking fast to clear the tears.
"Mmhm," Willa laughs. "Now I have blackmail!"
"Hey Finn's coming over is that alright?" Reed asks.
"Oh sure you know, yeah I just wanted to sleep but you know that works too." I say sarcastically.
"I'll take that as a yes."
When Finn shows up, we decide to watch horror movies.
We begin watching Sinister.
I scream at a part that frightened me so much, I almost jumped out of my seat. I had to sit up on the couch so there would be room for Finn, and he had sat right next to me. He started laughing at me as I buried my face in his chest.
After the movie, it was well past midnight and my mom comes home.
"Hey honey. Who are your friends?" She asks, noticing them.
We had just started watching Family Guy to pass the time and I muted it.
"Mom, this is Willa and Reed they're out neighbors and this is Finn, he's a friend from school."
I say gesturing to them.
"Hello," they all say in unison.
My mom looks uncertainly at Finn, then starts to head to the kitchen.
"Hello." She says on the way.
I raise my eyebrows at all of them.
"I guess you guys best be going now," I say.
"Yes, of course," Willa says, standing up. "Reed lets go. Bye Finn, bye Violet."
They leave just leaving me and Finn alone.
I gesture towards the door.
"Are you gonna go?" I ask, trying to sound nice about it.
"Walk me out?" He asks, smirking.
I nod. We walk out the front door and to his car.
"So I'll see you at school?" I ask, tucking a stray strand of hair behind my ear.
He nods and looks straight in my eyes. Then, he leans in closer. His lips meet mine in an amazing way. There were no sparks or anything like that, just an amazing kiss. I wrap my arms around his neck, pulling me closer to him. We pull away and I bite my lip.
"See you later, Violet." He smirks, getting in his silver camaro and driving of down the road. I smile and go back inside. I walk up into my room and go to the bathroom. I take a quick shower and get in bed. I felt comfortable for the first time in this house. I turn on my side facing the window. I could have sworn I saw someone there, but I shrugged it off, thinking it was just the movies we watched freaking me out.
