28. Color Run.

Carter's POV:

Yesterday was a weird day for me. After the concert, Louis couldn't keep his eyes off me. Only reason is; he didn't believe me. I'm guessing it's because of what happened between Niall and I. Just to make things clear; nothing happened between me and Niall. I just couldn't believe Louis didn't trust me.

Here's what happened last night:

So, Niall and I had a late lunch since we still had enough time to head back to LA. He had stopped at a local fast food restaurant which I have never seen before. But hey, it's good to try new things, right?

We walked up to the counter, looking up at the menu to see what we wanted to order. Niall insisted on buying anything I wanted and not to feel pity upon him. To be honest, I didn't take advantage of his offer, because he already did so much for me. I ordered a light meal that included a cheese burger, medium soda, and medium fries. As for Niall, he ordered a bunch for the ride back home.

After we took our food to go, we ate on the way. Niall and I turned up the music as we ate and sang our lungs out. I swear, the window was closed, but people in their cars were giving us weird looks. I really didn't care, because... well... YOLO.

When we got back to LA, I asked Niall if I could go back to the hotel for a quick change since my outfit wasn't something to wear in concerts. We went back and I changed to something more... concert-like. After that, we rushed to the arena, getting their on time.

About coming in holding hands thing; Niall grabbed my hand when I was lost on where backstage was, so we rushed as fast as we can to make it in time.

Enough info for you? Good.

Now, back to reality.

I was listening to Avril Lavigne when Louis suddenly carried me up and got me on my feet. I yelped, quickly taking off my headphones and looked at him as if he was crazy. "LOUIS. ARE YOU CRAZY?"

He just smiled widely. "Good, you're up."

"Literally." I rolled my headphones around my iPod and dropped it on the couch. "What do you want?"

He grabbed my wrist, dragging me out the hotel room without further notice. I yelped again, feeling a sense of deja vu. "Louis! Uh, Louis! Do you want to tell me where you're taking me?"

He shushed me. "Surprise from me, alright?"

"Again? You know, I'm kind of getting tired of surprises." I scoffed, obeying wherever he was taking me.

We started to walk out the back of the hotel, seeing fans screaming loudly behind the metal fence. They were all chanting Louis' name and asking who I was. I covered my face and continued to follow Louis. We were the parking lot of the hotel. Not much cars were parked here, considering that most of the cars were parked in the underground parking garage.

The fans were screaming louder when Louis stopped and waved at them. I gave him a look of annoyance. "Louis! I can't be seen by the fans! They could have cameras!"

"Relax, Carter. Nobody will notice you. Especially looking like that. You look way different than what you looked like 4 years ago." He told me, making me feel a little offended. Was that a compliment? I looked down at my white dress and flip flops. Was he talking about my outfit?

"So what are we doing?" I sighed, trying to ignore the fans screams.

"Come on out lads!" He called, not taking his eyes off me. Harry, Niall, Liam, Zayn, Eleanor, Louise, and Jasmine all came out from their hiding spaces, each of them holding a large bucket. I swear, if this was a water balloon fight with my white dress, I'll kill Louis.

I backed away as the fans started to scream a little louder as to my wondering. "You guys are just scaring me."

Louis went to pick up his bucket and came back in a matter of seconds, throwing his bucket first. He threw it directly at me, and before I knew it, I was in the midst of colored powder. I screamed when I found myself all blue. It was basically like powdered paint. "LOUIS!" I yelled.

The fans screamed louder than ever when they saw the colors everywhere on me and the ground. The entire gang threw their buckets of colored powders upwards, creating a mist of colors covering us. For me, I went to attack Louis.

My dress was basically ruined because of him. Worst part; he told me nothing about this. I if I knew, I would've dressed in darker colors.

After giving up on Louis attempt to kill him, I decided to join the gang to play around the rainbow of colors. I threw powder at Harry's curls, making him pretty annoyed. I laughed and tried to run from him, but he caught me by the waist and spun me around. "Oh my gosh, Harry!"

He chuckled, his now blue curls covered in paint. "What Carter!?"

"You got a little.." I pointed my his head, telling him sarcastically. "...something... all over your head." I laughed again.

The fans were literally cheering us all on, telling us to throw to whoever is playing. I had to admit that it was insanely fun, but it was going to take hours to shower off.

Day 2 in LA, and it was already the time of my life.
