Traveling rose

Rose doesn't like change, or moving places, but when her widowed mother falls for a gypsy traveller she has no choice. Follows rose's adventures as she has too deal with new family, a new dad, and countless new homes as they travel across the open country.

2. An empty house

It was two weekends before the Easter holidays, a cold and dreary day in Berkshire, a Saturday, I was looking through the large arch in our kitchen into the lounge, it  was completely empty apart from six cardboard boxes, filled with both of our close belongings that we just couldn't throw away an our clothes and shoes. It felt scary moving, away from everything familiar, I guess at least I wouldn't Have many people too miss, only nana, as I don't really have any friends- as I said, I'm not good with people.....

Me and mum decided to give nana the pick of our furniture and cutlery, and sell the rest. Nana picked out the flowery curtains, my favourite squishy arm chair and a flowery mug, she was sad to see us go but you could tell she was very happy with  the curtains. I smiled and knew she meant well. We were going to sell the house and nan said she would keep an eye on it while it was on the market, and let mum know when it was sold- so mum could go through the paperwork. Bless her :) .

The taxi arrived at 3. I had no idea where we were going, but that simply made me more excited with the sense of adventure.
