29. Something's Wrong

"Run!!" I looked all around to see who was shouting. But the room was empty. I ran along the corridors, panting hard and almost out of breath. Everywhere I went, it just seemed like there was no way out.

"RUN!"

"RUN!"

Where are those voices coming from! It's making my head ache. I continued to run despite the fact that my head was aching. I kept running. I was hyperventilating but I didn't care. I couldn't stop. If I stopped I would never make it out alive. I continued to run and I finally found a way out. I ran to it as fast as I could.

To my bad luck, I tripped over something which cause my foot to be sprained.

"Ugh!" I grunted trying to get up. But I couldn't. I felt the tears starting to form in my eyes. I was going to die. I couldn't.

Bullets started to come from nowhere and before I knew it everything went dark.

I got out of bed and realised I was sweating. I was dreaming. I was having a nightmare.

It was always the same nightmare. The same playback from my past. It haunted me for my whole life. I got out of bed and I remembered Lizzy's words playing in my head all over again. Kill your enemy with kindness.

Okay. So basically. I have to be kind to Harry, Lia and the others. I shivered at the thought of having to be kind to them. Is it even possible to be kind to such douche bags? Well, I guess anything is possible in this world.

I walked over to the bathroom and took a bath. After a refreshing bath, I got changed and headed to school.

***

School seemed to be worse than I thought. I was the 'topic' of the whole school. There were rumors of me being stupid, idiotic, weird and blah blah blah. It seemed like the popular group found a new way to destroy me and beat me up mentally. Great! Now they're beating people up mentally. How wonderful!

I headed to my locker and opened it. Luckily, nothing jumped out of my locker. Well, none for today. I got my books and shut my locker. The bell rang which indicated the first class for today.

Here we go.

Just take a deep breath. I can do this. Okay, so here goes nothing.

***

The last class was boring as usual. I was having an unexpected head ache today. Ugh! This is really not my day. I placed my fingers on either side of my temples and rubbed it. My head was aching so badly.

I shut my eyes closed for sometime to try to ease the ache but it seemed to just be neutral. The pain wasn't increasing it was but it wasn't decreasing either. I inhaled and exhaled, and finally the pain was decreasing.

Harry's POV

I honestly, do not know what’s wrong with me. I was guilty at first that Sophie found out, but then now I’m happy that she knew. I am such an idiot!

Stupid.

I tried to focus to whatever the teacher was discussing but my mind wasn’t working really well. Anyways, I already knew all these stuffs! Skip to the next lesson already!

I looked over to Sophie and she was scribbling things down on her notebook. I tried to see what it was but her arm was on top of the notebook. Take your arm off for pit sake! She shut her notebook closed and placed her right hand on her temple and rubbed it. Was she alright? Ugh! Why was I worrying?!?

She shut her eyes closed, and it looked like she was sleeping, but I’m pretty sure she wasn’t. I watched her as she peacefully breathed, I don’t know, it was fun watching her. She opened her eyes again, and opened her notebook.

When the bell rang, I quickly got off my seat. I knew Sophie was always early so I needed to be ahead of her this time. She hated waiting, and whenever she got impatient it made me laugh.

I got to my locker and placed my books in it. I shut it and quickly went to the library.

Shockingly, I arrived first than her. Weird. She was always an early bird. I sat in our usual table and waited for her to arrive.

***

"Sorry, I'm late," she apologised. I looked at my watch and noticed that she was 5 minutes late. Well, this is new.

"That's... very unusual of you," I said while slowly picking the right words.

"Umm, yeah," she said as she sat down in the chair beside me. She placed her bag in the table and took out some books. "So let's get started." I nodded my head and she carefully opened one of the books to a certain page.

I waited for her to clear her throat which she usually did before we started. I guess she does it in order to get my attention, well it worked. But it always left a smirk on my face. I waited for her to do it, but she didn't. She proceeded to the 'lesson of the day'. Something was wrong. I can sense it.
