Chapter 8

Niall’s POV

I touched my lips as I walked out of her house. It still felt like it was on fire. I’ve never felt that much passion in a kiss and I sure as hell have never put that much passion into a kiss either. Her body felt so right against mine. I couldn’t stop smiling to myself. The kiss was so amazing.

It took every urge in me to not turn around and go back to kiss her again. I couldn’t care less about the future at all. I couldn’t care less how it would effect us long term. All that’s on my mind was now and right now, in the very moment, I want her. Every damn part of her. But I know I can’t.

My phone started to ring as I walked around the corner, further and further away from her house.

“Niall, man.” James greeted me in a mocking tone.

“What do you want?” I growled.

“How was the talk with Georgia?” I can literally feel him smirking.

“Can you just f*ck off, James? This is not your region. You’re only on the north side of California, this is the south side.” I said.

He laughed manically. “Ah, but you see, Niall, what I want isn’t in Ventor. It’s in Bane. And there is no way I will be leaving without it.”

“Then hurry up and take it!” I yelled at him.

He gave me one more maniac laugh before I was greeted with the end tone. I shoved my phone back into my pocket, frustrated. Why can’t he just leave me alone? He’s been at it the moment he became leader! Which was four months ago! I need him gone. Especially now that I know that Georgia knows him, he needs to leave.

I pulled my phone out and dialed Blake. He answered on the first ring.

“Niall.” His gruff tone answered the phone. Blake’s my wingman. He’s like my second in command like I am to my dad. He’s a few years older than me and his muscly big.

“Find out what James wants. I need him out of Bane.” I demanded.

“On it.” He answered and hung up the phone. I just need James out and gone.

I got into my car and drove to my house which was only a few blocks away from her house. I drove down to settle business with my father. I walked into my two story house, big enough to fit two families but really only two people live here. High standard security system, a garage big enough to fit 8 cars.

I pulled my car up into the garage and walked straight through the back door. The polished marble floor was shiny enough to reflect the light.

“Dad?” I called out to the house.

“In the office.” He answered. I walked down to the room beneath the white stairs. It was a large room, full of papers and a hardwood, furnished desk.

“What do you need, Niall? I’m busy.” He answered as he scribbled on a piece of paper.

“Dad, James is in town.” I told him.

He didn’t look up from the paper work as he answered, “James who?”

“James Steel. Valley Kings?”

“They’re not a threat, Niall. You need to calm down.”

“Dad, he is a threat. I can tell he’s better than before.”

“Niall, enough.”

“But dad any other gang in our region poses a threat. We’re the undefeated gang, we’re the most powerful gang in California. Every one of them wants our gang dead.” I reasoned with him.

“They’re nothing, Niall.” He’s tone told me I should stop.

I sighed, knowing I have to use the last resort. “They killed mum. Does that mean anything to you?”

His blue eyes that mirrored mine flared up in anger. His face turned bright red and his hands turned to tight fists. He stood up and walked calmly towards me. He struck his right hand fist across my face, hitting my cheek. I kept quiet, knowing if I said a word I’d be dead meat.

“Never bring up the death of your mother.” He growled. “I killed him already. I killed all of them. They’re dead. Your mother’s death was avenged. I killed them all.”

“But they’re all still murderer at hearts, dad. He could kill any one of us. This is going to be going back and forth until one of us backs down. Which is never!” I yelled.

“You’re just worried that Georgia’s next.” He spat at me. I stared at him before walking out and up to my room.

It’s true, right? I only want him gone because I know he wants something to do with Georgia. He either wants her dead or ransom. I don’t want that either way. I don’t want her dead, I want her alive with me.

But isn’t it ironic? Even if he doesn’t kill her or hold her ransom, I’ll be the one to kill her. I’ll be the one to end her life for the sake of the gang. As much as i want her alive, she still has a time limit.

So what if he doesn’t kill her? Wouldn’t i be the one to kill her in the end? Would I even have the strength to do it? Is the gang so much more important to me than having someone who makes me so happy?

All these questions are going around in my head and it’s eating me alive.

All in Niall’s point of view for you! And I’m sorry for how late this is!
