I'm your average girl, moody teenager, everyone knows me. Except they think I'm a murderer. It's not true, of course, but does that matter? Not to them; they hate me, but I survive. But it isn't until a certain band member- with the name of Niall James Horan- comes to town that my world really spins. What will happen to me? That's for me to know, and me to tell. See you around.

10. Uh-Oh

Once again, I sadly dragged myself to my first class. I came to a stop over my statistics class and brought out my blue notebook. I sighed as I copied down the notes I was barely able to see on the board. This was always my least favorite subject, but I figured I should at least learn it for later on, if I ever need it. I heard a creak coming from somewhere behind me, causing me to look around. I shrugged it off, figuring it was nothing, until I kept hearing it. Did they do something to the vents while I was gone? I was starting to get a little bit worried, and as I was looking around I looked through the vent and something caught my eye. I squinted my eye to get a better look, and my heart almost stopped. In Caroline's purse was a screw driver  with a box next to it, in which, I'm willing to bet, had screws. I could see the smirk on her face. I frantically threw my notebooks back into my room, and tried to scoot back. I was too late. The vents wobbled for the last time before they plummeted into the class room. I heard many screams, and thumps from people running away. I braced my self for impact. As I hit the ground, I let out an oomph and immediately groaned. My vision was a bit blurry, and the wind was knocked out of me. I heard some one say my name, but I was too busy trying to regain my senses to fully comprehend what was happening. Soon enough, I felt myself being lifted up and carried away. As hard as I tried, I soon lost the battle to stay conscious.

I slightly opened my eyes to take in my surroundings, but not so much that the bright light in the room would harm my eyes. Once my eyes had adjusted and I opened them regularly, I had realized I was in a hospital. I scoured my brain for a reason, but found none. Whatever happened, I must of hit my head if I can't remember it. Well, I wasn't going to figure this out myself, so I hit the 'call' button for a nurse. Shortly, a short brunette walked in with a clipboard, and started to write down my condition- I think- seeing as I woke up.

"Excuse me? Could you tell me what happened?" She stiffened up as I spoke, and I realized she had been very cautious as she walked in. Great, even the nurse is scared of me.

"Could you get one of the boys out there then, please?" I sighed. She stifled a nod and practically ran out of the room. People acting like this around me does get really annoying. I started picking at my nails as the door opened. Glancing up, I saw Niall walk in, a smile on his face.

"Hey, how are you feeling?" He asked, sitting next to my bed.

"Confused." I stated, but as I said that, I realized there was a searing pain on the right side of my stomach, and winced. "Also in pain apparently. What happened?"

"You were in the vents, for school, and in the middle of Statistics the vents just caved in and you fell," He said. "Luckily, no one else got hurt, but no one else would help you either. I was the only one that knew you there, so I picked you up and called '911' and they showed up outside school," The memory came flooding back to me, along with my anger towards Caroline.

"I remember it now- well before I passed out. That bitch," I growled.

"What?" Niall asked, confused at my anger.

"I think Caroline figured out I go in the vents. She had a screw driver in her purse and a box that I'm willing to bet had screws in it."

"Did you guys like each other before that day?"

"No. I was the popular one, head of the school. She was used to being a big shot and she couldn't stand being second in command. I guess she finally got what she wanted." I laughed.

"Although, you're still talked about more than she is. You'd think after two years they'd get over some lie." He joked.

"Very true, I'll admit that is pretty stupid." I was a little less mad now that Niall was lifting my mood, which I was grateful for. Being upset is no fun. Just then, we heard a shout from in the hall.

"Where is she?" A voice came through. I grabbed Nialls' hand, hoping it wasn't who I thought it was.

"Where's my baby!" The voice shouted again. Shit. I gripped Nialls hand for dear life and prayed I wouldn't have to go back to that place, or talk to that woman again.

"What is it?" Niall asked, worried at my frightened expression.

"It's her. That's her voice," My voice shook.

"Who?" Just as he said that a woman burst through the door. She had short, shoulder length brown hair, green eyes, and tan skin. She was about five-eight, and was as skinny as a twig.

"She's my mother,"
