2. Lunch, yumm

~Niall's pov~

We were just leaving her house and I was very excited to go to lunch with her! Bella was very beautiful, nice and funny too! Those are always very good qualities in people.
We got to Nandos and had a seat. We both ordered chicken with mashed potatoes and coke.
"So" I said as I started to eat my chicken, "where are you from?"   I could tell she had been around other accents because she didn't sound entirely British, it kinda sounded like there was an American accent in there some where.

" uh well I lived in the Us for the first 10 years of my life and then we moved here for my dad's job. But every now and then we will go back to visit the family we left behind." She said.   I knew it! I feel so smart right now!

"Oh cool! Where in the US?" I hope that didn't sound creepy...

"Rhode island." She said. "But I don't have a Rhode Island accent where they add 'r's to words that don't need them, such as idear.  And I don't take away 'r's from places where they go like how my mother pronounces it 'draw' and not 'drawer'" she finished.  huh.

"I've got to say, I have honestly never heard of a Rhode Island accent before haha"  I laughed.

"Haha well Rhode Island is very small so... " she said. "But I have been around British accents for almost another 10 years so that's why the American and the British accents are kinda combined."   It was getting really easy to talk to Bella. I was a little nervous, well okay, a lot nervous at first but then I just got comfortable, like I have known her for awhile.

"Was it hard leaving your friends when you had to move?" I asked.  But then I wish I didn't because as soon as I asked I saw an uncomfortable look come across her face. But seconds later it went away and she answered.

"We'll you see, I didn't really have very many friends. I was kind of a little on the heavier side and I couldn't run as fast as the rest of the kids so I stayed to myself and I guess whenever someone came to talk to me I would shut them out, afraid they would make fun of me. So then we moved and I grew a bit and the flubbyness went away. I guess it was just baby fat...and I opened up a bit and made friends. Haha". Wow. I would have never guessed that this beautiful girl in front of me didn't have many friend as a child. I was surprised to hear that she was heavier to because she wasn't now!

"I'm sorry if I brought un painful memories." I apologized remembering the look on her face when I asked.

"No don't be," she said  "you didn't know. And besides, it actually wasn't that bad. I did have a few friends that were nice, and yes it was hard to leave them behind but we wrote to eachother. But then we kind of just grew apart as we grew up and made new friends."

~Bella pov~

Wow. Just wow. I couldn't believe I was sitting with Niall and eating lunch with him! Let along having a conversation! Some how I was able to keep calm and not scream in his face! I mean I have thought about meeting him before but I always thought I would scream,  and then run away...not very smart i suppose. I'm very happy for myself not only because I wasn't screaming but because I was opening up to him. I haven't really told anyone about my childhood, it was a sensitive subject, but I'm was telling Niall. And I didn't think it had to do with the fact that he was famous. It was just easy to talk to him, you know?  I hope he felt the same way but he probably didn't seeing as he was famous and could pretty much get any girl on the face of this planet... Oh well, at least I got to eat lunch with him. Later I suppose I could go blog about it. Yay me.
