14. Chapter 13

Amelia's P.O.V

When the flashback ended, I sang the last line of the song. I was back in reality. Just then I heard the door opened. When I walked upstairs, the boys took of their shoes. I stopped and looked at them.

"I played guitar." I simply said. I could see that they were surprised, shocked but somehow even happy for me.

"You were always good at playing the guitar." Louis said quietly.

"Who taught me?" I asked.

"I..." I looked at Niall and smiled. He was a great guy.

"Thanks for that." I said.

"You don't have to thank me for it. It was a long time ago and it was a pleasure for me to show you how to play." He smiled. I went to him and embraced him in a big hug. He hugged back and it was a great feeling. Horan hugs are always the best. After I let him go the boys took their bags and went upstairs to their rooms. I went to the livingroom and settled down on the couch. Suddenly I had the urge feeling to turn around, because I felt someone staring at me. I turned slowly around and saw Louis. He just stood their, with his hands in his pockets and his eyes locked onto me.

"You wanted to talk to me?" I nodded.

"So...What is it?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.

"I had flashbacks." His eyes went wide.

"Flashbacks? Like more than one?" He asked. I nodded.

"You are fast with your recovery. Anyways...What do you remember?" I got nervous.

"I was in the kitchen, cleaning the sink when a song came on viva I didn't know until today. It was 'Beneath your beautiful' by Emeli Sande. Then suddenly I wasn't in the kitchen anymore. I was at party with you and you led me in a room, where we had more privacy." I could see in his eyes, that he knew what I remembered."You told me about your feelings and asked me out. That's when the flashback ended. Now I want to know if I said yes or no, because we argued a bit about what a girlfriend I would have been.I know it's hard, but could you say me if I said yes or no?" He nodded.

"We were at Harry's party. We knew about each other about a month and I liked you a lot at that time. It had been hard for me too keep my hands of you." I saw a small smile on his face. "I was so nervous when I asked you out. And then when I asked you, you said you were no good, that nobody could help you. I said that I would prove you wrong but...but...you ran away. You just turned around and ran out the door onto the street. You were away for two days! All of us were worried sick about you." A tear rolled down his cheek. So I said no. I didn't know why I had say no. He was a great a guy. I couldn't have a better boyfriend. He was so much better than him. He had all what I wanted in a boyfriend. But I hadn't realize it earlier.

"Thanks for your honesty."

"What was your second flashback about?" He just asked.

"About the car crash." His eyes went wide again.

"The car crash? Until now nobody know why you haven't stopped. If you had stopped, the car hadn't crash into you." He said in a low voice.

"There hadn't been that many cars on road and when someone called me I tried to grabbed my phone. But it fell on the ground. I looked once again on the road and then reached for it, so I couldn't see the road. Suddenly I was thrown against the window on the passenger side. My whole body ached. The last thing before everything went black again is that I saw an ambulance man in front of me. He shouted something I couldn't understand." He stayed silent for a while. But now it was enough. "Please say something, Lou." He looked at me. I saw tears in his eyes. I layed a hand on his shoulder. "What is?" I asked softly. "It's my fault that the car crash happened." I was shocked that he said something like this. "Lou! It's not your fault! You weren't even there. Or was it you, who crashed into me?" I asked. My voice became louder. "No, I wasn't the driver." I didn't understand anything. "Then how is it your fault?" I asked him. "I was the one who called you." "Why?" I asked. "Because I just wanted to say I love you."
