2. The funeral

“And she will always be present in our hearts and mind.” The priest finished. We all carefully placed our scarves on the coffin and pinned them down and stood there and watched them dance in the wind. Miranda always loved bright colored silk scarves. Miranda Nichols was 18 years old, 5ft 5' with sea green eyes and brown hair. She was dreamy and self-confident and wasn’t really scared of anything; she had a very bubbly personality. We will all miss her truly; she was such a fun person! I looked around myself and to my surprise windblown leaves had created a formation in the sky. I looked up and read aloud “1342 16th St” and on my last word it vanished. 1342 16th St? I raced back to the car still griping the scarf in my hand hopped in a quickly locked all the doors. To be honest I was kind of freaked out. My friends had obviously all seen what had happened as they were all equally freaked out. I could see the fear plastered on their faces. I showed them the scarf and told them what the formation of leaves had said. It must have been a good half hour that we all just sat there in utter silence thinking this over. There was this eerie feeling about it. Half of me really didn’t want to go but the other half of felt like something really weird would happen if we didn’t…
