Olivia's POV

"You poor thing," Taylor coos as rest my head on the plane window. The jet is private and secluded, but my headache and nausea and overall sickness is at its peak.

"Shut up," I groan.

"Liv, seriously. We'll be in Kansas before you know it, and Harry will be here to take care of you," Perrie teases.

"I still can't believe you're all coming," Rydelle says, looking up from her iPad. "It was originally just going to be Harry, Liv, Niall, and I. Don't get me wrong, though. I'm glad-"

"Ry. Shut the hell up," I say, not yet opening my eyes to the dim lights in the dark cabin. Eleanor leans over and pats my cheek.

"Only eighteen more hours to go," she chimes.

"Explain to me again why you guys had to have the pilot fly from west to east. We have to fly over the entire continent of Europe and Asia and the Pacific Ocean, where we stop in Alaska in eighteen hours. Then another ten hours from Alaska to Kansas. You guys have just inserted me into a nonstop, 28 hour pain trip," I say.

"We aren't that bad to be around," Rydelle defends.

"No, not normally. But when I'm sick and dying, I can't stand you guys," I shake my head. "And can somebody please update me on why Danielle is never with us anymore?"

They all share a glance except for Taylor, tipping me off that I'm out of a loop.

"Liam dumped her," Perrie says. "Apparently she was telling him she was going home because she was tired of traveling. She was actually going home to be with another guy."

"What a bitch," I growl, surprising them all.

"Preach it, Liv," Taylor says. Her glasses, which are rare to see on her, are resting on the bridge of her nose and her brunette hair is tucked behind her ears. Her knees are pulled to her chest and she's reading on her kindle night bright.

"Tay, you should get some sleep while you still can. You're jet lagged and you won't get much of a break with our mother being in the same house as us. She'll have you going to every single event her and dad have to be at," I suggest.

"Guess what, Liv? It's gonna be the same for you," she laughs, making me groan in displeasure.

At least Harry will go with me to the stupid galas and dinners.

"We'll all go with you," Perrie suggests, reading my mind. I smile at her before pulling my eye mask over my eyes and laying down on the cot the jet has built into it, which is surprisingly comfy.

Harry's POV

I rock back and forth on my heels as I anxiously await for the arrival of Olivia's flight. We haven't been apart for longer than a day in the past six months. I need her. Badly.

"Mate, they're here," Zayn says as the light above the terminal turns green. I rush to the windows and stare out at the dark Kansas sky. We've been in Kansas, the boys and I, for the entire day and decided on waiting here rather than meeting the girls at The Governor's house.

My future father in-law is the Governor.

Future father-in-law... did I actually just refer to him as my future father-in-law?

The thought of calling Olivia's family mine is almost too much for me right now, but certainly not in a bad way. But with Olivia only seconds away, I'm easily excitable.

I stare intently at the jet rolling slowly towards the airport then stop. Cabin lights turn on and as soon as El steps off the plane, I can tell they'd been sleeping. Go figure. As Eleanor walks up the stares and into the terminal alongside Perrie and Rydelle, Lou, Zayn and Niall rush over to the terminal door and wait for their girlfriends to be at the end of the long hallway.

I continue to stare at the jet, waiting for Olivia to step out.

"Louis, stop!" Eleanor laughs as he holds her from behind and nibbles her ear. Rydelle and Niall are in each other's arms and Perrie is on Zayn's lap on a chair.

As Olivia finally steps out of the plane, I blink a few times to make sure it's her. Her hair is in its natural curly state and she's wearing pajama bottoms, her slippers, and a white tanktop. She looks tired and lacks her normal liveliness. But she still looks beautiful.

I smile as she holds out her arms and spins as she inhales the cool, fresh Kansas air then makes her way up the stairs and into the terminal.

I walk as calmly as possible over to the terminal door and watch as she approaches it from the long hall. When she sees me, she runs straight past all the agents and bodyguards with her and through the door, straight into my arms. I wrap my arms around her and plant a kiss on her forehead.

"I missed you," she says, her little arms wrapped around my waist. I've missed this.

"I missed you, too, Liv," I say, combing my fingers through her long brunette curls. I bend down and kiss her lips, making her hum in contentment.

"Harry," she begins as Liam joins us. "This is Taylor." Taylor smiles and pulls me into a warm hug.

"Thank you for saving her," she whispers so only I can hear. I look her in the eye and smile at her words.

"Liam, this is my sister," Olivia says, having forgot Liam was still here.

As he looks at Taylor, he can't peel away his eyes. He likes her.

"Hi, I'm Liam," he finally says, stumbling over his words a bit.

"Okay," Olivia turns to all of us after knocking on the humongous mahogany door of her parent's house. "My parents... they can be, um..."

"Very uptight and cold," Taylor finishes.

"Olivia laughs lightly and nods.

"So don't take any of their insults personally," Olivia says as a young women, maybe twenty-five opens the door.

"Olivia!" she squeels, pulling my girlfriend into a hug.

"Hey, Anna," she says warmly.

"Things haven't been the same since you left. Everything is boring," Anna huffs.

Olivia laughs and turns to us.

"Guys, this is Anna, our maid. She was my ladies maid before I left," Olivia explains. Anna nods happily as she takes in all of us.

"Wow. So you actually are dating Harry Styles. Half of me thought the picture in the magazines weren't actually you, but... wow," she gazes.

A man with graying hair appears behind Anna and clears his throat, making her turn around abruptly.

"Anna," he begins. "Excuse us, please."

"Yes, sir," she says.

"Ms. Jakobs, right this way," he says, leading us into the large house and down a long corridor. Olivia smooths down the blue dress she changed into at the airport and pushes her curls over her shoulder as we approach a lighted room at the end of the hallway. The man I assume is their butler leaves us and Olivia and Taylor step into the room.

A woman with long curls hair like Olivia and Taylor is sitting by the fireplace. She's dressed elegantly and is sipping wine. Her hair, though curly like Olivia's, Is blonde and held in a ponytail and her headband is made of garland.

"Hi, mom," Olivia says. The woman looks up and her expressions brightens.

"Olivia, dear!" she says, setting down her glass of wine and standing. "Look at you! Oh, you look so tired!" She pulls Olivia into a hug, then Taylor, as a man, I suppose is her father, due to his brunette hair and piercing blue eyes, approaches me.

"So..." he begins. He has a crystal glass of whiskey and he's dressed as elegantly as his wife. "You're the boy my little girl is dating. Harry, right?" he asks.

"Yes, sir," I smile, holding out my hand and shaking his.

"Aw, a nice, firm grip. That's something I look for in men interested in my daughters. It shows that they're real gentlemen," he says. I smile, glad to know that he likes me.

Olivia joins me and I wrap my arm around her shoulder, resting my hand on her hip.

"Hi, dad," she smiles. I remember her telling me that she doesn't have a good relationship with her dad, but she's putting on a good face and I'm proud of her for it.

"Hello, darling," he says.

"And you must be Harry," her mother says as she joins us. "I've heard so much about you, dear."

"All good, I hope," I smile, shaking her hand. She has a thick accent, it sounds Australian.

"Let's just say you have an outstanding report from both Matteson and Taylor, Olivia's sisters. Ican't say the same for her brother, though. He hasn't said anything, but-"

"But he's on his way here, so we should be seeing what he thinks soon enough," Mike says, his smile still spreading over his face.

"Mike! Cora!" Rydelle says happily, walking past Olivia and I and into Cora's arms.

"Rydelle, darling! How have you been?" Cora says and begins a conversation with Rydelle.

"You never told me you're Australian," I whisper in Olivia's ear.

"And you never told me you're such a kiss up. I guess we've both learned something new," she teases, leaning up and kissing me.

"I love you," she whispers.

"I love you," I say.

"Your parents seem nice," I say. I'm laying on the bed and Olivia is washing her face.

"Yeah, if only they weren't such snobs. My mom isn't as much a snob as my dad, though," she says. As she walks towards me, she pulls her hair into a ponytail and then pushes her glasses up the bridge of her nose.

"You look so cute," I laugh and she straddles my lap.

"And I feel like a nerd with a horrible head cold," she says, leaning over and kissing me.

"You're still adorable with glasses on. And you're wearing actual pajamas," I say, rubbing my hands up and down her sides.

"Well its not like I could wear my normal kimono over lingerie," she sighs.

"Why not?"

"Well for starters, you'd be too... tempted. And what if I wake up thirsty and need to go downstairs for a drink? One of our 'roommates' might see me," she says.

"Hence the kimono. And so what if we have sex. You're parents won't be able to hear us, we're staying in the guest house. And the others are probably having sex right now anyways," I say.

"Not Liam, the poor guy," she sniffs, rolling out of her straddle position and laying down, cuddling into my side.

"I wouldn't be so sure. He's staying in the main house," I say.

"What?"

"I think Liam and Taylor have a thing," I say.

"I knew they would like each other. She's exactly like him in different ways," she says.

"That doesn't make any sense," I laugh, kissing her forehead. "You're so lucky I'm not horny."

"Once we get home, and are settled back into the penthouse, we'll go for a full night," she promises, making my breath hitch.

"Stop," I groan, making her giggle.

"Or we could tomorrow night. We could drive to Lawrence for the KU game and then get a hotel," she suggests.

"Sounds perfect," I say.

I lean down to kiss her forehead again before flipping off the lamp. She melds herself into me and we're practically spoons, my arm laying over her middle.

"Why didn't your brother show up?" I ask when we're settled.

"He had other priorities, or at least that's what my mom said," she says. I can't see her face, but I can tell she rolled her eyes.

"And Matteson?" I ask.

"She's down in Australia with our aunt, planning her wedding," she says.

"I still can't believe you're Australian. Tell me more about it," I say.

"Well my mom was born there, and my dad was born in the US, but he's Australian, too. My mom met him when they were both attending Harvard Law," she says. "They moved down to Australia after college and had me and my siblings. We lived there until I was four, then moved to Kansas, since dad was nominated for governor."

"Wow. And I thought I knew you better than you know yourself," I laugh.

"Well guess again," she laughs.

"I love you," I whisper.

"I love you too," she says, as we both fall into a deep, jet-lag induced sleep.
