My poems

A collection of poems I've written - all different, possible similar themes.

5. Another year passed

Another year passed

Soon to be years passed

Am I getting too old?

I was never told

To die young

Yet the leaves will fall

Geese leaving a silent call

Weather deteriorate once more

Seasons waving, nature - please pour

Ambers, mustards, emeralds and sapphires

To create life

Or kill with strife

The wind blows, an icy chill

But nature has less to thrill

When old and alone for autumn months

Nature is no longer kind

Only takes, leaves me behind

Undecided much like the sea

My years passed by me

This year – a replay with a slowing beat

Soon to stop,

Naturally, never to repeat.
