Chapter Ten

They spent the rest of that evening in bed. And the next day. And the day after that.

“We really should eat something.” Harry mumbled into Emily’s soft skin as her stomach let out another loud growl. He tickled the soft skin on her stomach, causing her to giggle. Now, Harry loved many things about Emily, but her giggle was probably his favourite. When Emily was truly happy, she let herself go, and she let herself laugh, and it always came out as a cute and bubbly giggle. She would wrinkle her nose, her features taking on a look of pure innocence and bliss. Then again, Emily Binks could do anything, and Harry would still find it absolutely adorable.

“We can eat later.” Emily pulled Harry back towards her, his naked body warming hers once again. She almost felt anxious whenever she couldn’t feel him, like if she blinked, he would be gone once again.

“You’ve been saying that for the past two days, love.” He kissed down her jaw, in no way making a move for the kitchen.

“And I will continue saying that until I’m tired of his.” She wrapped her legs around him, bringing his torso to hers, he groaned as his manhood met her core.

“Well then we might not be eating for a very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, long time.” He kissed her hard on the mouth, slipping his tongue into her wanting mouth, exploring it like it was the first time he had ever kissed her.

“Say very again.” She giggled, rolling her eyes at how cheesy he was being.

“Very.” He said shortly, before grinding himself into her.

            “Harry.” She gasped.

            “Emily.” He groaned.

“EMILY! OPEN THE DOOR!” Both Emily and Harry snapped their heads up, their eyes falling on Emily’s bedroom door. They both gasped, pulling the covers over them just in time as the door opened to reveal a very distressed Louis. “Harry isn’t answering his phone, and now it’s going straight to voicemail, and neither are you, and we haven’t seen either of you in days, and, oh.” Louis stopped dead in his tracks, his eyes falling on his two best friends in bed together, both of them clearly naked.

“Uhm…Hi guys.” Emily’s face heated up as she smiled awkwardly at the four boys before her.

“Here we go again.” Zayn laughed, smirking at the pair.

“You guys look happy.” Niall noted.

“We were worried about you; you could have at least called.” Liam scolded them. Less because he cared, and more because he was insanely jealous. He took one more look at them, their lust filled eyes, crazy sex hair, and the stench of the room, he raked his eyes over Emily’s flushed cheeks, bright smile, it’s like she was finally at peace, before stalking out of the room. Emily looked at Harry, concern filling her eyes before she leaned over, grabbed Harry’s shirt and pulled it on, and then ran after Liam.

“Liam, wait!” Emily caught him just as his hand was reaching for the doorknob.

“Don’t worry, I was just going for some air, it’s pretty stuffy in there.” As mad as he was, as jealous as he was, as much as his heart was breaking, he just couldn’t be mean to Emily, he couldn’t stand seeing pain in her eyes. He had seen it enough when she was apart from Harry, and if that’s what made her truly happy, he knew he would have to accept it. He would get over it soon enough.

“You know what I did for Zayn when he thought he was in love with me?” She looked up at Liam, her eyes warm.

“Yeah, I do.” Liam gulped. Did she mean she was going to kiss him?

“Liam, you are not in love with me. Well, you might be, but it’s not burning and passionate like you think it is. You’ve never had me, so it consumes your mind wondering what it would be like. But Liam, you are the best, most kind, handsome, amazing person I’ve ever known, and I all I want is for you to be happy. You deserve so much better. You deserve someone who will love you back in the way that you love them. Liam, I love you, you’re my best friend, but I don’t think I can love you in the way that you want me to love you, not while Harry consumes my whole heart. He’s forever.” Emily whispered the last bit, thinking about forever with Harry Styles.

“Do it, please. Let’s see if you’re right.” Liam took a step forward, pressing his fingertips into her hips, resting his forehead on hers.

            “Liam—.” Emily breathed.

“Please.” He begged her; he needed to know if it would work for him too. And then she did it, she pressed her lips softly against his, her scent filling his nose.

“So?” She broke away from him, resting her hand on her hip; she was clearly unfazed by the whole ordeal.

“Uh, you were right. Nothing.” He smiled uneasily at her.

“Good. Oh good! No more jealousy. I want us to act like a family again!” She beamed at Liam, the feeling of being completely content washing over her body.

“Yeah. Great. One big happy family.” He forced out a laugh. In truth, that one kiss had been everything that Liam could have ever hoped for. That one kiss made him feel more alive than he had ever felt. If anything, Liam Payne just fell even more in love with her.
