I called M on the way to Raven's villa. His familiar voice was a slight comfort to me and I prayed that he was right when he said that Cat was still alive.

"Bond, I'm going to send Will to help you," his voice was hard; his decision was made and I didn't like it.

"There isn't time! Q and I are going," I said.

"But Q isn't fully trained!" M stated, exasperation flowing into his words.

"Maybe not, but I trust him. We'll get Cat back and bring Raven's head on a stick," I said with a slight smirk.

"This isn't the medieval ages 007. But very well, just keep in touch and let us know what is going on," M sighed. I could hear Moneypenny begin to argue in the background.

"Give Moneypenny a kiss from me, would you? And tell her not to miss me too much," I smiled. M laughed on the other end of the phone.

"Of course, good luck Bond," he said.

"Bye," I replied and hung up. Q glanced at me sideways quickly before his eyes darted back to the road.

"What?" I asked him.

"You trust me?" He smiled.

"Well, I sort of have to," I smirked.

"Well, yes I suppose you do," he replied.

I directed Q to the field opposite the villas, the same field where I found Cat's phone. He stopped the car and got out, closing the door ever so gently. I sighed fondly at the fact he prided his work so much. I watched him for a few seconds as he gazed at the villas on the other side of the bay. I sighed inwardly and got out of the car, slamming the door with extra force. Q turned around and glared at me before looking back at the villas. I let out a small chuckle. I walked up to Q and stood next to him.

"Which one do you think is his villa?" Q asked.

"I'm not sure," I replied.

"She's there somewhere, I feel it."

"I know, I can feel it too."

"I'll call Mike and get him to find out which one is Raven's villa," Q said as he got his phone out and dialed the number for Q-Branch. He wandered off absentmindedly as he spoke to Mike, his replacement whilst he was here. I carried on staring at the villas trying to see if there were any obvious giveaways as to which one was Raven's.

"Thanks Mike, see you soon," I heard Q say as he walked back towards me. He hung up and pointed at the villa furthest from us. "That one." I could hear the anger in his voice. I nodded and walked to the boot of the car. Q stood next to me as I opened it and revealed a range of weapons underneath the main compartment. I handed Q a Walther P5 Compact and made sure he had enough ammunition. I got out my PPK and reloaded it and made sure I had enough ammunition too. Q admired his gun for a few moments before realizing something.

"These are out of service!" Q exclaimed.

"So?" I said. "You need a weapon and there's your weapon." Q sighed. He knew that he didn't have a hope in hell in hand to hand so he needed this gun, whether it was allowed or not. I closed the boot and got into the drivers seat. Q slid into the passenger seat.

"Lets go," he sighed. "How's your leg? Will you be able to run?"

"If I have, then I will. I'll deal with the consequences later," I said and gave him a sarcastic smile. Q raised his eyebrows but decided to drop the subject. The throbbing in my leg had been buried somewhere in my subconscious but Q mentioning it had brought it to the foreground of my mind and I fought hard to ignore the throbbing in my calf. The bullet had grazed my leg enough to leave a pretty nasty burn mark. I had put the dressing on it and left it. I sighed as the throbbing finally faded. I pushed the accelerator down hard, and scared Q as we sped off towards the villas.

Each of the villas were impressively big, well for Q they were. As we got closer to Raven's villa, Q's eyes narrowed and his eyebrows dipped impressively downwards. He was angry and nervous, his emotions were practically rolling off the sleeves of his light blue shirt. I sighed and stopped a little way away from Raven's villa.

"Are you ready?" I asked Q. He nodded with tight lips, his eyes focused on Raven's villa.

"We need a plan," he said with a voice as cold as ice. I gazed out of the window and sighed.

"He wants me to go in alone, without you. So, I'll go in through the front, find a way to sneak in round the back," I said as I looked back at Q.

"Okay," he nodded. "What if that doesn't work?"

"Just get into the house," I said. He nodded slowly.

"Where do you think they're keeping her?"

"Probably in the cellar, they wouldn't keep her upstairs because she might escape and climb through the window. A windowless room in the cellar is the most likely place she will be."

"So, you'll go with Raven to wherever he takes you, and I'll go to the basement, right?"

"Exactly," I said. "Oh and Q, try not to use the gun unless you have to. We want to get in and out as fast as possible without Raven realising what's happening."

"Okay," Q said with an unsteady voice.

"Ready?" I asked, my hand on the handle of the door.

"As ready as I'll ever be," he sighed as we got out of the car.

"Oh and Q?"

"Yes 007?"

"Good luck, and see you soon. Meet back at the hotel."

"You too Bond, see you there." He nodded once and then jogged round the back of the villa next to Raven's. His brown hair flopped up and down as he ran and I hoped that he remembered enough of his hand to hand combat training that he'll get out with minimal injuries. I sighed and tucked my gun into the back of my trousers before heading down the path to Raven's front gate.
