15. Epilogue

Levi eventually moved away, away from Southern Ontario and as far away from her old life as possible. She kept in touch with her old friends and made some new ones. She'd never forget about their craziness and downright amazingness. She would always love them.

Her sister Evening, became an adult and moved to London to work in the music industry. Her love of music helped her in the darkest times and it never left.

Ren, realizing that he loved teaching, started his dream to become a teacher. He grew to teach some of the biggest smartasses you'll ever meet.

Shelley Jones, Levi's mother, never trusted men again and kept to herself, finding joy in watching soap operas and talking to Sean Smith, her neighbor.

Levi, she took Trent's advice and wrote a book on wizards, like she always intended. She's currently waiting on the Newburry Honour Award for her work on "The Flawed Perfection" series.

Trent never forgot about her either, he bought the very first copy of her book. They now live together in a flat in downtown London, hating the rain and spending each minute loving each other.

"Watcha doing Levi?" Trent whispered as he held Levi around the waist from behind. She kissed his cheek and turned around to face him.

"I'm just reading this old book someone mailed me," she said showing him The Book. Trent takes it lovingly in his hands.

"You know the author's name?"

"No, there was no return address."

"It's from Alyssa Sylvester. She died of cancer." Levi suddenly remembers how The Book talked about dying and leaving loved ones behind.

"How'd you know?" she asked, puzzled. He nuzzled her cheek.

"I dated her for a year, before she became sick. I loved her. She told me to move on, to find someone better and love them. She wrote a book, but I never found it, until now." Levi mentally mourns Alyssa, never to forget her.

"How'd it end up with me?" she asks, still slightly confused.

"Your mom's a therapist, Alyssa's therapist. I found out the day I dropped you off with the milk, remember?" It suddenly makes sense.

"Do you still love her?" she asks.

"She holds a little piece of my heart, you now that," he says, she nods. "But you have the rest."

"I love you," she says, holding him. He holds her just as tightly.

"I love you more."
