3. Ch. 3

When I got home, I struggled to get the lock open, but finally got it after a couple tries. I stumbled to my room, almost knocking over a couple picture frames and lamps. I fell into bed and tried to fall asleep, but couldn't. All I could think about was the boy I met tonight. I sighed and pulled myself out of bed. I stripped my dress off and pulled on sweats and a t shirt. I walked out to the kitchen and put on a teapot to boil some water. I pulled a mug from the cabinet and set it on the table. I grabbed a tea packet, placed it in the mug, dumped a spoon of sugar in the cup, and waited for the water to be done.

I sat down at the table and started to get lost on my thoughts. I started to zone out, thinking about the boy I met tonight.

He was so beautiful, even a sober person would agree with me. The fact that all he wanted to do was walk and talk sort of surprised me. Most guys that talk to me at the club normally want something from me. This boy didn't. I sighed and closed my eyes, only to be snapped back to reality by the sound of the teapot whistling. I got up and poured the water into the mug and grabbed a spoon to stir it together.

I glanced over at the clock and it was about three in the morning. I sighed and walked over to the small balcony over hanging the streets. I pulled myself up so I was sitting on the edge as I drank my tea and had a couple cigarettes.

Being American, and living in London was defiantly a big step for me; especially since I lived here alone. I was accepted into Central Saint Martians, a big fashion school on full scholarship. My parents weren't up and moving my whole family so they sent me alone. However, if something happened to me they would be notified since I won't be legal for another two years.

However, I did make a few really good friends. None of which went to CSM with me. They were to a private school in this area. Bradie lived about twenty minutes away in a different complex and Zee lived in the same complex as me. Those two were my two closest friends here. I obviously had my friends at CSM with me but none of them I was as close to as I was with Zee and Bradie since people at CSM were spread all out over Europe.

I sighed as I watched the sun come up. All I wanted was a normal life and with my family in America, my boyfriend and I fighting constantly, and this boy that claims to be watching me that I felt like I life was far from.

Around five, after watching the sun come up; I decided to head to bed. I sauntered off to my room and crawled into bed. I slowly drifted to sleep, even though I knew I wouldn't be asleep for too long.

Around noon, I re woke up. I yawned and pushed the covers back. I went over and opened my windows. It was a warm July morning. I smiled and took in the air before walking back to the kitchen to make myself some breakfast or lunch; depending how you look at it.

While I was eating, my phone started ringing. I looked over and saw that Zee was calling me. I answered it and put it in speaker.

"Hey babe." I said.

"Hey love, are you doing anything?"

"Not exactly. I'm just sort of hung over."

"You're sort of hung over? You went clubbing again last night?"

"Well, I was having a rough night. Peyton and I were fighting again and I just...I needed a break from reality."

"You always need a break from reality. So, do you want to go out to the mall or something?" Zee asked.

"Yeah, sure."

"Great, I'll be up in a few." Zee said and hung up. I hung up and changed into shorts and a cami. I pulled my hair up in a pony tail as there was a knock on my door. I walked over and opened it. Zee walked in and kissed my cheek.

"Hey, I'm ready to go now if you want." I said.

"Sure, let's go." Zee said. We walked out and started walking. "How was clubbing last night?" Zee asked me.

"It was...interesting." I said slowly.

"How so?" I stayed quiet, not sure how to gather my thoughts.

"Well...there was a guy there..." I said. Zee laughed and shook her head.

"I would assume so; the world isn't all females." Zee joked. I shook my head and half smiled.

"That isn't what I meant." I said as I nudged her. She smiled at me and grabbed my hand.

"Than what did you mean?"

"I mean...this guy came up to me and we started talking and everything..."

" met a random stranger and banged him?"

"No...he bought me a drink and we talked."

"Talked as in talked, or talked-talked." Zee said with a wink.

"No...we literally just talked."

"What English boy just wants to talk...?"

"I guess this one. Though, he did look sort of I've seen him before..." I said slowly.

"Have you?"

"I mean...he mentioned he's seen me at the club before but that's it. So in going to assume I've just seen him around there."

"But you don't actually think it was that, do you?" I shook my head and looked down.

"I really don't."

"OH MY GOD, MOVE!" Some girl yelled, pushing past me. I stumbled into Zee but she caught me.

"What the hell..." I questioned as I straightened up. I saw a mob of girls running towards a group of guys, though I couldn't make out who they were.

"Oh, it's one of those groups from the X Factor." Zee pointed out.

"Famous people piss me off..." I grumbled.

"They always get what they want, no questions asked. Why can't they just do it themselves?"

"Because they're airheads."

"I hate them all." I grumbled as we walked by.
