16. Ch. 16

The day of our flight, I was giddy with excitement. I had always wanted to travel more than just to and from America and England. I was finally being taken seriously and being sent all over the world with one of the biggest boy bands as their substitute stylist.

“Are you excited?” Niall asked as I crawled in the car. I was practically jumping up and down in my seat.

“I’M SO EXCITED!” I screeched, making Harry wince.

“We can all see that now…” Louis pointed out. I bit my lip and looked down.

“I’m sorry…” I said, biting my tongue, trying not to say babe. After that night we spent together, drunk, we haven’t really done much of anything. We were friends and that was that, although I did want to be more. I just didn’t know Harry’s thoughts on it and I didn’t want to be the one to bring it up. “How long are we staying there, exactly?”

“About a week, max.” Liam said. I nodded and smiled again.

“All my friends are so jealous. None of them have been this involved with their stylist. They all have to do the boring shit, like coffee runs all the time.”

“You just got lucky, huh?” Harry asked. I looked over at him and smiled.

“Yeah…I guess I got lucky.” Our eyes locked and I tried to look away but the way his eyes sparkled brought me in more, making me want to stare into his eyes forever.

“Right so…we’re here.” Zayn said. Harry and I looked away from each other and noticed we had just arrived at a Starbucks.

“What are we doing here?” I asked, clearly confused.

“We’re switching limos.” Liam pointed out. I nodded and followed them into the second limo. We stayed in that limo until we got to the airport. As soon as we got to the airport, people were everywhere looking for the oh-so perfect, One Direction. Paul and airport security helped us get through to their place and once we boarded, we all took our seats. I was next to Liam, Harry was by Louis, and Niall was sitting across from us with Zayn. I gripped Liam’s hand since I’ve always been a little afraid of planes, but he squeezed my hand, reassuring me it was all going to be okay.
