For more than two years, Dani has suffered from the abuse of her ex-boyfriend. After escaping her abusive home, Tyler is set on keeping his promise, ending her life. What he doesn't know, ending hers, isn't just ending one.

12. 12 (4 Weeks Later)

I walked inside and sent down my bags, Tyler followed carrying Ellie, "Your parents did a great job with the place." He handed Ellie to me.

"Yeah." I walked her into her nursery, and laid her in the crib.

"I know you're uncomfortable with me being here and all, but could I stay? Just for tonight."

"Just for tonight." I smiled taking my things into my room to unpack. Tyler smiled and grabbed the remainder of the bags and helped unpacked.

"My tops go in the top drawer, not the bottom." I smiled taking them from him.

"Oh, gotcha." He laughed. Something in him changed. After Ellie, things have been different between us, in a good way.

"You know, it might be a good idea if you stay tomorrow night too."

I felt Tyler come up behind me and wrap his arms around my waist, "Oh really?" He quickly turned me around and kissed me, and I kissed him back. His hands slid down my waist and into my pants. I didn't want to stop him but, I knew I had too...but I couldn't. He laid me on the bed and took my clothes off. His hands caressed my body and his fingertips slide through my hair. I tried to fight the urge but, I couldn't. I wanted him.

"Stop. We have to stop." I pulled away from him, but he pulled me back in. Tyler didn't say anything, he just kissed my neck. "Stop." I pulled away from him and put my top back on. "We can't do this. Not now. Not ever." I grabbed my pants and ran into the living room. I couldn't believe myself. I let him in, and now I can't get him out.

"You're right. We can't do this. We shouldn't do this." He said as he walked into the living room adjusting his shirt. "You just had a baby, and I took advantage of you. I think it's probably best if I left. I shouldn't stay tonight or tomorrow." He sat next to me and gave me a kiss on the cheek.

"I'll call Delilah. She can stay." I nodded. After that it was nothing but, an awkward silence. I can't believe what came over me. Our relationship was never supposed to be anything but, friends who had a kid together. Let me rephrase that, our relationship was never, ever, supposed to be anything, but two strangers who had a kid together.

"Okay, start over." Delilah said sipping on coffee.

"After we got home, we almost had sex, but I stopped him." Every time I said 'sex' her jaw would drop. Honestly, it was kind of amusing.

"I can't seem to comprehend the fact that my sister almost had sex with her abuser."

"I can't seem to comprehend the fact that my sister can't comprehend the fact that I almost had sex with my abuser, who I have a child with, and will have to see for the rest of life."

"Oh, shut up." She laughed, slapping my knee.

"Ouch. I think I've been ten times harder than that in my life time." I laughed, but suddenly realized that came out way worse then I thought it would, "I didn't mean it like that." I awkwardly laughed.

Immediately Delilah changed the subject, "You hungry? I'm hungry." She stood up and went into the kitchen.

"My fridge isn't stocked. Nothing in it." I shouted.

"Late night Wal-Mart run?" She laughed.

"Let me grab Ellie and the keys."

"I think we have enough food to last a lifetime." Delilah laughed as she helped put the groceries in the trunk.

"Until it all expires." I laughed.

"That's how I like my food. Expired and moldy." She smirked. I grabbed Ellie and put her in her car-seat. I started the car and we were off.

"Can I ask you something?" Delilah asked. I nodded, "Do you remember the day that you realized you weren't coming home?" The car went silent. I knew I'd give her some serious response, and she'd feel bad, or I'd give her some really sad story, and she'd feel much worse for even asking.

"You know, I don't really remember. I mean, I was gone for two years, " I paused, "Actually, the one thing I remember was when everyone stopped looking for me, because on that day, I remember turning on the news, and they had come to the conclusion I was either dead, or I ran away."

"Please, don't do this." I pleaded as I was being drug down the hallway into the bedroom. "Oh, I'm just getting started." He laughed as he tied my hands to the bedrail. "Please." I begged for him to stop, but he wouldn't listen. He took off my pants and tied my legs the rail. "Please Tyler. Please, don't do this." I cried. "Shut up! Shut the hell up!" He screamed in my ear. He got on top of me and ripped off my shirt. I kept begging for him to stop, but he wouldn't. He started kissing my neck, and going lower. "Don't you like that!" He screamed, "Please, stop." I felt his knuckles hit my jaw, and heard a snap.

"Dani!" Delilah screamed. I opened my eyes, and saw a car in my lane. "Dani, get over!" I froze. "Dani!" I couldn't move. I tried to pull over, but I couldn't move. I arms wouldn't budge. The car was coming closer.
