14. First Date

Aria’s POV

I walked in the park looking around at happy kids playing with their parents giggling out of joy. As I scanned the area I spotted Zayn, sitting alone on a park bench, shaking his head as if something was wrong. I cautiously walked over to him and sat down next to him.

“Hey,” I said quietly, “Are you okay?” I whispered to him. As I spoke to him he immediately lifted up his head and smiled.

“Yeah, I am fine,” he replied, smiling.

“Please tell me,” I said, a smile appearing on my face. Zayn began to tell me what happened from Perrie ushering over him and Liam, to running out the house in disgust.

“I am so sorry Zayn,” I replied.

“Don’t be, it’s not your fault,” Zayn said, “I was wondering if you maybe wanted to go somewhere on an uh…date?” Zayn stuttered out quickly.

         “Sure,” I replied quickly.

“Okay, well I will see you tonight then, I can pick you up,” Zayn said.

“See you tonight and here is my address,” I said scrawling down my address on a piece of paper. Zayn took the piece of paper and waved a goodbye and walked back to his house.

Zayn’s POV

I walked back to my house burning with excitement; I couldn’t wait for my date with Aria. As I walked into the house, I remembered I would have to confront Liam. Liam was sitting on the couch watching a movie, I tried to sneak past him moving towards the staircase but as I crept across he whipped his head back and looked straight at me. I groaned and Liam motioned me over.

“I really am sorry Zayn,” Liam said to me apologetically.

“I know you are, it’s fine,” I replied.

“Thanks and you should know that Perrie is not going through with the pregnancy.” Liam said.

“Okay,” I replied back, “You won’t believe what happened in the park!” I said in excitement.

         “What?” Liam replied smiling.

“I saw Aria and I asked her out on a date!” I yelled. Liam screamed with me and I ran upstairs to get ready.

Time Pass

I straightened my jacket and walked outside towards my car, waving goodbye to my lads. I opened my car door and followed Aria’s directions to her house. I pulled into her driveway and I saw her open the door and walk towards the car. Aria looked stunning as she had at Perrie’s party. I got out of the car and opened the door for her, she climbed in and I drove off. I turned into the parking lot of Nandos and helped Aria out of the car. I walked in with her, holding her delicate hand in my mine. The hostess sat us down at a small table and Aria and I chatted as we decided what to order. A waitress came to our table and we both ordered and carried on chatting and laughing. When the food came, we both ate quickly and left shortly after. We both walked over to my car and I navigated my way to Aria’s house. As I sat in the car, I realized I had never had a date that perfect. I pulled into Aria’s driveway and waved goodbye as she clambered out of my car. As she began to walk inside I called out, “You forgot something!” Aria looked at me confused but walked towards the car. As she neared closer, I climbed out of the car and leaned in for a kiss. Her plush lips touched my mine and our lips moved in perfect harmony. We kissed for several minutes until we were both out of breath. I smiled at her and watched as she walked into her house smiling back at me.
