Fates Game-Elis Story

I recall a time when she remembered me. A time when I was happy. A time when she would smile, laugh and enjoy the feeling of being together. Now she has forgotten me and I have to win her back, or I will disappear forever.

9. Eli-Things We Don't Know

I continue down the halls, they seem endless, like my thoughts.  My mind tells me that Fate is telling the truth, but my heart says I should not listen to lies. You can change Fate, can't you? Well I am going to try. I don't want her in charge of me any longer. I close my eyes for a moment in the silence I think about what Fate is planning. Surely it can't be that bad, could it? Anger boils inside of me, there are so many things I don't know, it simply infuriates me. The anger inside of me starts to vanish once the hall comes to an end. There's one door waiting to be opened, it sits there patiently. It seems like it is waiting for me to make the decision. Go after the girl, or stay here in safety. I don't even have to think about it, and slowly I open the door, which reveals a blinding light.

It seems to be the afternoon in human time, people roam by going on in their simple day. The sun seems blinding even though it is behind clouds. It takes valuable time for my eyes to adjust to this world. But eventually I can see across the street the store Axel had once been at. It makes me wonder if she is still there, its at least a place to start. Setting one foot into the street, I walk towards that store.

I just hope I find her in time.
