4. Darling

My first class went okay if it weren't for Harry being the teacher and the fact it was a singing class. I hated singing. I was okay at it but I wasn't amazing like some of the guys and girls here at the camp. I was heading to my next class which was Song Writing 101 with Niall. I didn't think that I would really mind this class.

I walked into the building. Everyone was talking and laughing when I walked in. I skimmed the room seeing Camilla's bright cotton candy head. I bounced over to her and took a seat next to her. She was talking to two guys.

"Hey Rickie! This is Matthew and Toby! Guys, this is Rickie No Last Name! She's a drummer and a damn good one!" She elbowed me in the ribs playfully.

Matthew, a tall slender guy with long dark brown hair like a hair model and deep blue eyes, shook my hands sending shivers down my spine. He was very yummy. Toby had the short on the sides longer on the top kind of hair that was spiked really high. His eyes were a deep brown color. I had a thing for guys with brown eyes and lemme tell you, his were amazingly beautiful!

Before I could say anything to them, Niall walked into the room making all the girls. I could see Camilla roll her eyes very dramatically making the boys laugh. I let a small laugh out too then stood up. Everyone moved around the room and sat in the seat with our names on it. Camilla, thank god, was right in front of me.

"Hey guys! Welcome!" Niall said, his eyes on Camilla. I think Niall had a little crush. You could tell by his goofy smile and the way he kept tripping over his own two feet.

I laughed again then took out my song writing notebook. I loved to write my own music even though Harry stole one of my best songs, I still loved writing. You would think my music was hard core and all that jazz but it wasn't. I kinda liked writing love-ish songs and that kind of Taylor Swift stuff.

"Uhh well. How may of you write music?" Niall asked.

My hand slowly went up along with half the class including Camilla, Toby, and Matthew. The other half of the class stared at their feet or fiddled with their pens.

"That's a lot better than the last class. Umm. You with the orange hair. Damn it. I know your name... Rickie! Come join me." Niall stumbled.

I looked around the room. The stares coming from some of the girls in the room were really creepy like stalker you should be in jail creepy. I got out of my seat with my song book pressed on my chest.

"Okay Rickie, read us a line from one of your songs." Niall said taking a seat at the piano. He pressed one of the keys and looked at me. His blue eyes seemed to look right through me. I couldn't tell if he remembered me or not. He only met me once or twice when I was still friends with Harry. It killed me inside to think about me bring friends with that dick.

"Go on darling." Niall said in almost a whisper.

"Uhh," I opened up to a random page and almost punched myself in the face because of the song that was there. It was a song I wrote about Harry and as much as I hated to say it, it was probably one of my best songs. Most of the lyrics were personally so I picked a simple lyric to say, "I hate the way you walk. I hate the way you talk. I hate the way you lie."

Niall sat there pondering the lyrics. He ran his fingers across the keys. He sang the lyrics along with playing. It sounded beautiful the way he was playing it and adding his on twist and words to it.

"That's the power of song writing. Thank you Rickie. I will pair up the each of you, write a song with songs you have written and sing it as a duet in front of the class. This project is due Thursday. Now work." Niall instructed.

Everyone had to put their name in a hat. Since there was an odd number of students in the class, the last person had to work with Niall. All the girls in the room were praying to work with him. If you know what I mean.

I walked up to the hat because I had the first pick. I ended up getting paired with Toby. I was okay with that. He was pretty yummy with those amazing eyes. I think that we would work well together.

It came down to the final pick. A boy named Robby had the finally pull out of the hat. Camilla and another girl named Allison still hasn't been picked. I could tell that Allison, a perky red head, was dying in her seat hoping she wasn't picked so she could work with Niall. Camilla on the other hand was in her seat praying she didn't have to work with Niall. No such luck. Robby pulled Allison.

The class was dismissed for lunch. I was leaving the room with Camilla when Niall called my name, "Hey, Rickie. Can you stay here please? I will write you a pass for your next class."

I nodded. Niall still sat at the piano running his fingers over the keys.

"I just wanted to tell you that your secret is safe with me darling."

I smiled at him and he did the same. I knew I liked him the best out of all of them. I had so many questions for him but the class room started filling with new crazy girls. I slipped out with a smile on my face.
