Relatable and Not-So-Relatable Rants

Things that personally just get on my nerves and I thought I should share, more the less I needed somewhere to get my anger out before I blow up. Hope you can relate, because right now I feel like I'm the only one who's bugged by these things

6. The Cliches

The Cliches

Now I know I am not the first to address this but oh my god there are so many of those damn things I could puke my brain out... right here... right I type this, on my laptop (sorry baby)

Cliche #1:

Abusive dad/boyfriend

In every damn fan fiction the girl gets abused! It's always the same.

1. Dad/Boyfriend gets drunk and abuses, everyone in school thinks she's a freak

2. Girl runs away

3. Boy finds her and takes her home

4. She tells him everything, they fall in love and have sex, sex, and more sex

5. (Sometimes it ends there, sometimes there's more) Dad/Boyfriend comes back and new lover protects her

6. They run off into the night and live happily ever after

Okay, seriously? Can you not come up with any original ideas?

Cliche #2

Falling in love with your bestfriend

There are so many stories out there about falling in love with your childhood bestfriend whom you've known forever. It usually goes like this:

The girl has no boyfriend, she has a low self-esteem but is so damn popular and gorgeous, she out of nowhere realizes she's in love with her bestfriend, he's taken but she fights to the death and wins his heart. Ta-Daaa!! I just shortened your story for ya!

Cliche #3

The Player

There's always that story where the player falls in love with the pretty nerd.

It usually happens like this:

There is that one player of the school who is extremely sexy. He picks a girl every year to be his target. When he chose me, I was bewildered. Why would he choose me? I'm not pretty, popular, blah, blah blah. Oh boy! I need to stay away from him. Oh but I think I love him... maybe he'll change? No... yes? Here it is. I'm about to have sex with him. (insert sex scene here) That was the best night ever! (Ten years later) "You may now kiss the bride" And to think this started as me being his target...

Am I right or am I right?

There are more cliches but I'll come back to those another day... until then, comment something that makes you tick and I'll add it in or comment asking to co-author if you have a lot of rampage inside you that needs released.
