10. Snappy Baby

Then you hear the baby cry,

And you think you could truly die.

Mum is out with dad and sis,

Rushing out before giving a kiss.

But then you turn and see it’s face.

What do you do? You begin to pace.

It’s little claws at the pram,

Like a poor old little helpless lamb.

You smell it there, and there and then,

And you think to yourself can’t I leave it for ten?

No, you say, I have to try and be happy.

Even though you are extremely unhappy.

You wretch and gurgle as you see it all,

The total mess, large and tall.

And the babies hands in the way,

Just enough to ruin your day.

You clean the baby and pick up the mess,

Anyone else would've cooed "Oh bless!"

You drop it in the bin and pull a face,

Then you see you need to tie your lace.

You bend down to tie, a nice bow grand,

Then you realise a brown splodge on your hand…
