In this book you'll find 100 poems to read,
But you won't know what they are about, there's no answer or lead,
You'll have to guess, you'll have a try,
But I thank you for reading my,
Book of poems, 'Guess the thing!'
Have a go and lets see who'll win!

11. A Priceless Rag

A priceless rag that’s thrown on quick,

It’s not well kept, or cool, or slick.

Splodges of food and oil I stop,

From messing up your favourite top.

Hanging on the kitchen door,

Waiting for mum’s next house chore.

Seeing the kitchen day in, day out,

Watching tap water run down the spout.

While poor mum slaves and scrubs all day,

I block the dirt and move it out the way.
