Re-Entering the Wardrobe

"I looked up at the Two sons of Adam and the Two daughters of Eve. For I myself was like them. For I myself was a Daughter of Eve." This is Re-Entering the Wardrobe! A Narnia Fanfiction! Hope you like it!

8. The village by the Professor's house

After Peter explained what had happened, I was in awe. I respect them greatly now. I still can't believe that they did all of those things! Defeating the White Witch! And being in a war! Although, that's why we are all here. I had pointed it out to Peter and Susan interjected that it was what she had told him. Susan and I have become good friends since then. Today we went to the village.

"Do you think Mrs. Macready would like the yellow potatos or the regular ones?" Susan turned to me and asked.

"Hmm? Oh... potatos, umm.... I think she would create a giant fuss about the yellow potatos if we were to bring them back to the Professor's house."

"What are you looking at?" Susan asked me as she approached me.

"Oh, I'm just trying to clean up my pendant." I answered.

"What of?"

"A Lion." Susan looked at me with shock on her face. "Wait, this doesn't have anything to do with Him, does it?" By 'him', I meant Aslan. The Pevensies had told me about him while Peter was describing the fight.

"I don't believe that Aslan could get on a pendant, although he had mentioned something to Edmund and I about it, just before he left."

"Was it because of the pendant I couldn't get into Narnia for a long time. Like you have? When you were one of the Queens?"

"Maybe, it's the only reason you could get there." Susan pondered.

"Maybe, just maybe..." I wondered along with Susan. The two of us went into the next shop and came out with some flour and sugar from the coupons that Mrs. Macready let us use. We passed a spot and there were a couple of boys talking. They were about our age, since Susan was my age. One of the boys was admiring Susan as we passed. He started talking very loudly when we passed by.

"Su, look over there. One of the boys fancies you."

"He does?" Susan peered over her shoulder. "Ah, yes. It seems that he does."

"Well aren't you happy?" I asked her. She shook her head, and looked back. "Alrightie then," I said so just Su could hear me. "Let's get back to the manor and we can play cricket with Lucy, Peter and Ed."  With that we walked back to the manor.

"Susan! Molly! HELP!" We were greeted by a panting Edmund.

"Hold on, Ed, what's going on?" Susan asked.

"Peter fell. And he can't get up." Edmund said frightened. Susan tensed quickly.

"Where's Lucy?" I asked him.

"With Peter! We need help!" was Edmund's reply.

"I'll take the food and the groceries. You go and see what the problem is." I told Susan.

"Thank you." she whispered as she ran off following Edmund.
