Knives and Pens

Joshua Kimble goes to a school filled with homophobes. His life is kind of good, his parents totally ignore him and so do the students at Grether High School. He has a house keeper that acts like the mother Kimberly, his real mom, never could be. He gets a $100 allowance from his dad. Life could be no worse. Or Could It?

Turns out I fell asleep. I streach and feel a presure on my chest. I open my eyes to see Travis's hand pressing on my chest "Stay still, the cut needed stiches, it was deeper than I thought it was, and my mom bandged it, so be carefull when you move around.K?" He looks at me, all serious and all I can think about is the kiss we shared in the bathroom upstairs. "Um?"

I ask and he sighs. "My mom left to go shopping, told me when you wake up to take you home. Come on." I get up and look at the cut, I have bandages rapping around my chest. I try to lift my arms above my head but it hurts I cringe at the pain.

We walk down to my house. I open the door, Eliot isnt their and no one is home. Emeline is out back taking out the trash, I think. "Travis, come on. I'll show you my room." I lead him up the stairs and walk to the very back of the house. I get to a closed and locked door. "Huh,It looked taller and deeper from outside." Travis says as I unlock my door. After we are both inside the room I put a sign on the door. I lock it. "To let them know I am home.' I explain to a coonfused looking Travis. He nods and askes "Do you always lock the door?" I nod and walk to the other wall with another door. I turn to him and ask "Trust me?"
