10. Explanations II

 Previous Chapter

''Sive! Just explain already!"

"Alright, alright, calm yourself" she surrendered.

.........................................................................................................................................................

"Well, our family, our bloodline is well, 'special' I guess you could say'' she questionly stated, unsure of herself.

"Sive. Elaborate." I spoke clearly, annoyance evident in my voice.

"Clary, it isin't my place to say really, I can't give away too much. It's....for yourself to find out and....learn I suppose, well according to the prophecy..''

''Do you only speak in riddles?'' I accused questionably.

''Something like that'' she murmured.

I narrowed my cold stone eyes at, clearly conveying my irritation from her lack of details. My face was plain and expressionless, the kind of vacant straight face that only a female could pull off. The kind that was used to show complete displeasure to whatever was said or done.

Sive challenged my 'look' with one of her very own. One again, a women thing.

She raised her arched eyebrow slightly and hardened her voice. "As I said before, it's not my place to tell. It's something you've to figure out for yourself, no matter how hard. Although, I can more or less guide you to how to find out or achieve some goals.."

I huffed.

Sive was now just as agitated as I was. In return for my huff, she sprang off my charcoal grey duvet and stalked out of the room to cool off.

I sighed and flopped backwards, lying down n my single bed. I spread out my long limbs as the muscles all over my body relaxed. In my back, the relaxation of my muscle hurt slightly, but a good pain. It's like the 'ahh' pain you have after a long or hard day when you can finally take a well deserved break. I liked it. Or more so welcomed and encouraged it.

I let my eyelids gently swoop over and close. My face less tense and calmed. I greeted the sleep that wanted to take over and unwind. My breaths left my lungs long and steady. My chest rose noticeably as I did so.  Soon, I was engulfed by it.
