11. In Goliath's Favour

Suddenly a draft flew in, the air turned cold, burning torches were put out, and thunderclaps boomed throughout Athens. Brazeedas ran through the corridors, turning and glancing around, dreading what Zeus may had prepared for him. He ran down the stairs and to the west balcony, before he could lean over a spark of lightening hopped along the walls and struck him in the stomach, he flew back and hit the wall in seconds as a voice boomed in disgust:

“You have disrespected me Brazeedas! And you have just murdered someone with your own hand! Your kingdom and palace of fools shall fall!” Brazeedas got to his feet and used the wall for support, but when he touched hit, lightening surged through him. He crawled and hauled himself onto the balcony, and leaned over in horror. Houses and buildings were struck by lightening, they crumbled and flew into the ocean, the air filled with ash, houses were decapitated, and tidal waves drowned the locals. Without doing anything, Goliaths wish had come true. And this wish, may end up killing him.

“No!” Brazeedas yelled, “No! Please Zeus I beg of you! No! Not my beautiful palace! I have worked months to make this place fit for a king!” He stared in terror as in the distance; a bolt of lightening struck the balcony below him. His palace began to fall.

“Brazeedas! You murdered and killed to create this! You are no hero! You are a menace!” Zeus had changed allegiance.
