Bloody Mary

Mary Cowan has murdered 18 people, 26 attempts at murder, and 15 assaults. But when she escapes from jail, her ex-friend is in danger. Kaitlyn Weston has to protect herself and family from her and her pistol, the same pistol that has killed 18. And did I mention, Bloody Mary is unstoppable with that pistol

I stepped outside. The cold wind hit my face. This was it. This was the feeling of freedom. And I haven't felt it in a while. I looked behind at the cold building I had been locked up in for so long. 'You're gonna get caught' 'They'll see you' 'He'll put you back in there.' Nasty thoughts ran through my head. I had to shake them out. That's when I did it. I ran. I ran all the way to the pawn shop. Familiar faces everywhere. I had to ignore them. Running was my only option. It's always been my only option. I looked through the window. Trying not to make a scene, right there it was. The pistol. I needed to get it, somehow or another. Iwalked in casually, and reached for the pistol. I tried not to make eye contact, but a little boy must have recognized me, because I heard him talking to his mom, "Mommy is that her?" I grasped the pistol. That made the mom shut him up. I knew the owner of the shop, but that doesn't matter anymore, he's gone. "That'll be- wait a minute, don't I know you? Aren't you supposed-" I cut him off with a gun shot. He staggered backwards with a loud thud as his head hit the glass case behind him. I smirked at what I had just done, unaware I had just drawled and audience. "If ANYONE tells what they saw, I will hunt you down and do the same. This isn't a robbery, I don't want your money, all I want is to be free. And if they find me I'll suspect one of you, and I will find you, and I will kill you." So what I lived in a small town? Everyone knew me here. I was Bloody Mary the Killer up until this day. Now I'm Bloody Mary the Psycho Escapee. Nothing wrong with that. So what if Columbia, Kentucky only has 4,000 people and news spreads a little faster? I can handle that. I can handle anything. I was at a pawn shop, why not pick up a few things while I'm here? I got a pair of sunglasses and a scarf. I threw a $20 bill at the cashiers wounded forehead, "Keep the change, ya filthy animal." I laughed at my own remark and walked out with the sunglasses on. Ready for anything.
