Last First Kiss - A Niall Horan Love Story

I danced over to Niall, grabbing his shoulders as he lifted me up. I wrapped my legs around his torso as I giggled and leaned in to kiss him. He pressed his soft lips to mine and I instantly felt the spark. It was as if I could open my eyes and see the fireworks. As I pulled away I stared into his glowing blue orbs. "Niall, I love you." I whispered in his ear. "I love you too, Adrienne. More than you could ever imagine." he said, sounding as if he had put all his feelings into those few words. I rested my forehead on his, draping my arms around his neck. He smiled and I returned the action as I leaned in and pressed my lips to his once again. Everything around us stopped and we were no longer out with our friends. It was just us and the rain. It was passion in it's best form.

15. Stronger Feelings

Hayley's POV

When Louis and Niall came back up to the room they had already been outside signing things and chatting with fans for nearly half an hour. It was the sweetest thing how the cared about their fans so much. "Hayley?" Louis looked over at me from his place sitting next to me on the couch. I smiled back at him. "Yes?" I said. "Would you mind if we had a chat in my room?" he asked, grabbing my hand with both of his. I nodded, still smiling. "Of course." I said happily as he helped me up off the couch and led me down the hallway. This penthouse was really quite a nice place. I mean obviously it's a penthouse and it should be nice, but this was way prettier and luxurious than ones I had seen before in movies and stuff.

We reached Louis' bedroom door and we stepped in. He quietly shut the door and followed me over to his bed, taking a seat next to me. "Hayley, what are we?" he asked, looking down at his lap where his hands twisted around each other. I placed my hand on his cheek, pulling his face up gently to look at mine. "What do you mean, Louis?" I asked him. I wasn't really sure why he was asking me this. I thought it was a little more than obvious that we were something special. He shook his head slightly.

"Well, you see, I really like you. But I also have really strong feelings for-" he started to say, drifting off. I looked down. I was starting to get that dry feeling in the back of my throat. You know, the kind you get when you're about to cry. I could already feel the tears welling up in my eyes, on the verge of falling. "Feelings for who, Louis?" I asked him, trying to avoid his face. I couldn't look at him. I really liked him, like a lot. And the fact that he could possibly feel something for anyone else really tore me apart.

"Um, just someone else. But the thing is, I don't want to hurt you. Not by any means. And I feel like I might hurt you not only by not being with you, but also by being with you when I do have stronger feelings for someone else." he said, sounding as though he may be on the verge of tears as well. By this point tears had streaked my cheeks and my face was getting hot. "Stronger feelings?" I asked, feeling so defeated. I felt as though someone had just ripped my heart out of my chest and ran over it with an 18 wheeler truck. I looked up at him and let go of his hand. "Hayley, I am so sorry. I jus-" I cut him off. I couldn't hear anymore of this. "I'm sorry Lou, I have to go." I said, wiping my eyes and walking out of the room.

Niall's POV

Louis and Hayley had been in Lou's room for a while now. I wonder what they're doing in there exactly. Hmm... I looked down at Adrienne, she was snuggled against me and I had my arm wrapped around her. We were watching Paranormal Activity and we had all convinced her to watch it with us. She was so nervous that her nose was turning pink along with her cheeks. She told us that she'd never watched a horror movie before and I thought that was pretty adorable. The first time something unexpected happened she jumps, screeched and nuzzled deeper into my neck. I don't think she particularly like this movie.

When the person was thrown against the camera a door slammed the penthouse. Adrienne full on screamed and buried herself in the couch and under the blanket. Then Hayley came out of the hall. Her eyes were a bit red and her face looked redder than a tomato. "Hayley, are you okay?" Camryn asked. She nodded. "Yeah, I'm just going to head home. You girls can stay if you like though." she said, walking toward the door and slipping her heels back on her feet. I didn't know girls that well but I'm pretty sure she had been crying and usually with girls it was tears of sadness. Rarely tears of joy. But she wasn't my girlfriend so I wasn't to sure if I should comfort her or ignore her or what I should do.

Thankfully Liam, being the father that he is, got up and wrapped his arms around Hayley. "Hey, it's alright." he whispered to her. He pulled away from her and looked her in the eyes. "What happened?" he asked, firmly. I could see that Hayley knew he wanted a real answer. So she gave him one. "Louis just, he just broke up with me. I think," she said, as she began to cry more. I looked at Adrienne and her eyes were wide, her jaw almost hitting the floor. She knew just as well as I did why this had happened.

"Oh, Hayley! What did he say?" Liam said to her, pulling her back in. She shook her head. "He said that he has, he's got, um, stronger feelings for someone else." she said, sobs slipping out between every few words. Now what me and Adrienne had been thinking had been confirmed. Louis still had feeling for her and we both knew this was going to be a tough thing to handle. Before I knew it Adrienne was up off the couch and walking down the hall, obviously going to see if Louis was alright and talk him out of his feelings.
