The Vampire.

Vampires are fake, right? Wrong. A vampire constantly follows me; but once I see the light, the darkness gets a bit more swallowed. But the dark always exists there; and with dark, comes trouble. I'm still scared to death, of course. I'm not going to fall in love with a vampire..or I'll try not to. I love him. I know I do. I think I do. I guess I do. He still scares me. And with love, comes struggle. Leading up to love? That's even worse. Vampire or not, I love him. "I'm trouble." "I know."

8. Chapter Seven. (There's a surprise in this chapter(; )

I wake up, and my head is pounding. I open my eyes, and squint them, trying to adjust to the light. Then I realize, there is no light. I’m sitting in a dark room, and now that I’m fully awake, I notice my hands are tied behind my back, my ankles are tied, and my mouth is duct taped. Great, just great.
“Ah, You’re awake.” I hear. I nearly fall over, because I jump so high. Then, I see it. The pale light flickers, and turns on, revealing Harry, his eyes glowing a dark green. The darkest green I’ve ever seen them glow.
“You want the tape off?” He asks sarcastically. I nod.
“Don’t scream.” He says. I nod. He rips the tape off, and I nearly scream out in pain.
“Now, do you know what it takes to make you a vampire?” He asks. I nod.
“Oh yeah? What?” He asks.
“You have to drink half of my blood, and I have to drink yours.” I say.
“We’ve got a smart one here.” He says. Then, 4 boys step out of the shadows. I scratch my head.
“Whaaaa?” I ask, trying to focus on them. That’s it! It’s One Direction! I think to myself. 2 of them leave, and come back with a chair. Sitting on the chair is Fran.
“Franny!” I shout.
“Caelyn!” She shouts back.
“Both of you, quiet!” Harry says.
“Jeez.” I mumble.
“I wouldn’t be getting smart if I were you. I’ll turn you into a vampire right here right now.” He says.
“Oh yeah? Do it.” I say. Fran shakes.
“Don’t challenge him, Caelyn.” She whispers.
“No, I’m going to challenge him if I want to.” I say. Fran groans.
“You’re being stubborn.” She says.
“As if you’re never stubborn.” I shoot back. Harry unties the ropes from my feet and my hands.
“Come here.” He says. I shake my head no. He shrugs, and grabs my arm, standing me up.
“I’m going to turn you.” He says.
“No, I don’t think so.” I say. He licks his lips, and steps closer to me.
“And who’s stopping me.” He says, his hot breath hitting my face.
“I will.” I say. He laughs.
“You’re a mortal. You can’t do anything.” He says. I roll my eyes.
“I’m not becoming a vampire.” I say. He shrugs again.
“Yeah, you are.” He says.
“Uh, No, I’m not.” I shoot back. I hear Fran laugh.
“Don’t laugh, she’s not funny.” He says.
“If I’m not funny, why do you want me so bad?” I ask.
“Because, you’re fit, and you’re really, really hot. I like your personality.” He says. I roll my eyes.
“Mhm, Mhm. You sure you don’t just want my sweet..sweet..blood?” I say, stretching the words out. This is probably like torture. He grabs my waist, and flings me over his shoulder. Great, what a good situation I’ve gotten myself into. We walk into a room, and he shuts the door behind us. Then, I hear a ‘click’ indicating he locked the door.
He pushes me up against the wall.
“I’m going to change you, slowly..” He says darkly. He has his hands on both sides of my head, which means I can’t make a break for it. Looks like today is the day I become a vampire. He leans in, and crashes his lips onto mine. He slowly moves down to my neck, sucking. I moan loudly. He just laughs.
“This will only hurt..a lot.” He says, digging his fangs into my neck. Surprisingly, I don’t scream. It didn’t hurt as bad as I expected. It felt like I got a shot. Then, I start to feel woozy.
“That’s plenty.” He says. In one quick motion, he slits his own wrist.
“Open.” He says. I open my mouth, and he puts his wrist up to it. I have no choice but to drink the blood, seeing as he’s holding me in a death grip. He then takes his wrist away.
“See, now you’re a vampire. It wasn’t that bad.” He says. I feel the fangs sink out of my gums. I touch them.
“Eeee, They’re sharp.” I say.
“They’re fangs. Of course they’re sharp.” He says, rolling his eyes. I huff, and cross my arms.
“Now, you’re mine.” He says.
“Hmm...I don’t think so.” I say. I make a run for the door, and remember it’s locked. In one swift motion, I unlock it. I run out, and I see Fran. I grab her arm, and run out the front door. I concentrate hard, and use vampire speed to get home. I open the front door, and slam it behind Fran and I. She looks at me, and cocks her head to the side.
“Are you a vampire?” She asks.
“No, I always ran that fast.” I say sarcastically, as I flop down on the sofa.
“So, how does it feel to be a vampire?” She asks.
“My neck hurts. And I think he gave me a hickey.” I say, tilting my head to the side. She nods.
“He did.” She says. I roll my eyes, and lay down on the couch pillow.
Before I know it, I’m covered in darkness.
