The Vampire.

Vampires are fake, right? Wrong. A vampire constantly follows me; but once I see the light, the darkness gets a bit more swallowed. But the dark always exists there; and with dark, comes trouble. I'm still scared to death, of course. I'm not going to fall in love with a vampire..or I'll try not to. I love him. I know I do. I think I do. I guess I do. He still scares me. And with love, comes struggle. Leading up to love? That's even worse. Vampire or not, I love him. "I'm trouble." "I know."

6. Chapter Five.

“Don’t turn around.” I whisper to Fran. She nods, and freezes in fear. Someone grips my waist. I let out a shrill scream.
“I’m not going to hurt you, as I said about 5 times.” Is whispered in my ear. I scream again, and Fran is still next to me, frozen in fear.
“Oh Niall!” Harry calls. Soon another boy comes up behind Fran, and wraps his arms around her waist.
“You’re not getting away this time.” Harry whispers in my ear. He lifts me up, and throws me over his shoulder. No matter how much I scream and shout, and punch his back, he just continues to carry me down the street.
“PUT ME DOWN!” I shout. He darkly laughs.
“I don’t think so.” He says. We finally walk into a dark alley, and he sets me down.
“See, was coming with me that bad?” He asks.
“YES!” I scream at him. He shrugs, and pushes me up against the brick wall. He begins to kiss my neck, sponging sweet kisses all the way down to my collar bone. I don’t want to admit it, but I’m enjoying this. I let out a small moan. He laughs, and comes up to my face.
“I can suck your blood, because it smells so sweet..or I can change you. Your choice.” He says. I laugh.
“My choice is to..RUN!” I shout, pushing him out of the way and running as quick as possible out of the alley. I run all the way to my house, and breathlessly reach the front door. I swing the door open, and run into the house, slamming the door behind me. I lock all of the 6 locks built on the door. I run over to the sofa, and lay down. I take deep breaths.
There’s a knock on the door. I get up off of the sofa, and peek out of the curtains. I see Fran standing there, bobbing up and down, glancing nervously around everywhere. I run to the door, and unlock it, swinging it open and pulling Fran into the house. I slam the door behind her, locking it up again.
“Are you okay?” I ask her. She’s pale, too pale. She lays down on the sofa, and lays her hand on her forehead.
“He sucked my blood.” She says lightly. I clench my fists.
“I will drive a wooden stake through his heart.” I say. She chuckles.
“He’s too strong for that. I’m going to take a nap. I promise I’ll be okay.” She says, before shutting her eyes. Her breathing slows, and I realize she’s asleep. Then, I realize I left Heather somewhere on the sidewalk. I quietly curse under my breath, and open the front door, tightly locking it behind me. I walk down the same path we took, and I see Heather, laying on the sidewalk. She’s awake, but she’s just sitting there.
“HEATHER!” I yell, running over to her. She whips her head around, and jumps up, running over and pulling me into a tight hug.
“I was scared. I thought you were a vampire, or you were dead.” She says.
“You don’t want me to be a vampire? Hurtful!” I say, with a laugh in my voice. She laughs, and we walk home together. When we get there, I open the door, and walk in. I shut it behind us, and lock it. I feel as if something’s missing, and then I realize what it is.
Fran.
She was sleeping on the sofa when I left, and now she’s gone.
“HEATHER! FRAN, SHE’S-SHE’S MISSING!” I shout. Then I see it. The little note, taped to the table. I grab it.
Hmm..How to start such a letter. That won’t be super duper long. I’ve taken your friend, Fran. And not just for Niall, but a lot for Niall. Anyway, that’s besides the point. I’m not going to return your friend Fran until I have you, and you’re a vampire. Until then, I’ll see what I can do with this pretty little brown eyed girl...

I crumple the letter, and throw it into the trash can. My fists are clenched.
“Are you alright?” Heather asks.
“No.” I say through grinded teeth.
“Why? What’s up?” She asks.
“That creep took Fran. And he won’t give her back until he has me. But I’m getting her back. No matter what.”
